Shawn, Tig, and Jax all stepped out of Fawn's room so she and her boyfriend could get dressed. Jax told Tig to go outside to get some air and calm down while they waited. Shawn sat down on a couch and Jax sat on the arm next to her.
"So," he started. "Would now be a bad time to ask why the Trager girls have a thing for black guys?"
Shawn gave him a dirty look. "Really?"
"That's a yes."
Shawn stood and walked around to the other side of the room. Fawn's door opened and she came out right as Tig and the other guys came back into the house. Fawn looked at Shawn.
"What is this about?" Fawn asked.
"Maybe you should sit down," Shawn said gently. Tig sat on the couch and motioned for her to sit next him.
Fawn's eyes narrowed. "I'll stand."
"Suit yourself," Shawn mumbled. She glanced up at Juice who was on the opposite of Fawn's living room as her. He gave her a reassuring smile and nod.
Fawn looked at Tig. "What are you doing here?"
"I had to find you, baby. You might be in trouble," Tig explained. "There's a guy, a black guy, he wants to hurt me and my family."
"Why?" Fawn asked, angrily as she finally sat down next to him. "What the hell did you do now?"
"You just got to get out of town for awhile, please?"
"What about Dawn? Did you get her to leave, too? Or did you just pay her to go?" Fawn asked Tig. He glanced at Shawn as his eyes began to turn red. Fawn began to understand what he was saying. "Oh, shit, Dad. Where is she?"
Tig just shook his head at her. He was having an even harder time telling Fawn what had happened than he had when he told Shawn. Fawn turned to look at Shawn and Shawn looked back at her. She wasn't going to look away from Fawn like everyone had done to her when she heard about their sister.
"Where is she?" Fawn asked Shawn this time.
"She's gone," Shawn said as her voice cracked.
Fawn looked like she was trying to process the information. The look of grief and anger took over her face as she turned back to Tig.
"I hate you," she whispered. Tig tried to comfort her, but she began to shout as she hit him. "I hate you! I hate you, you pig!"
Shawn moved to grab her sister's arms and started to pull her away from Fawn.
"Shawn, don't!" Juice told her. He was worried Fawn would begin to hit Shawn, even though she was pregnant.
Shawn looked at him as she let Fawn go and stepped back, but it was too late. Fawn turned her anger on Shawn and pushed her. Shawn stumbled back a couple steps. Fawn glared at her for a moment before she pushed her, again. Shawn stepped back, but didn't try to stop her or hit her back. Shawn knew what her sister was doing. Fawn was trying to pick a fight. She wanted Shawn to hit her back.
"I'm not going hit you, Fawn," Shawn said. Fawn responded by pushing her a third time. Juice stepped in between them to face Fawn. Shawn hadn't even seen him cross the room.
"It should have been you!" Fawn screamed at Shawn. Happy now grabbed Fawn and began to pull her out of the room. "It should have been you! It should have been YOU!"
Juice turned to look at Shawn, but she didn't look back at him. Her eyes were open, but they were blank, as if she wasn't actually seeing anything.
"Yeah, I know," she said, quietly answering Fawn.
"Hey," Juice said, touching her shoulder. "She's wrong. It should not have been you."
