"I'm really sorry." My voice cracked.
And she didn't respond.
At that moment I knew that I couldn't hold back my tears anymore.
I looked at her and the tears started falling from my face.
I tried to speak despite the crack on my voice.
There were still so many things you should know Yuri.
So I just summed it all in one sentence.
"Please hold on a little longer. I need you, Yuri."
It felt like a little guilt was released from my chest.
She's staring at me and she's frozen still.
Suddenly, she hugged me tight.
I rested my head on her shoulder.
I'm a type of person who doesn't like showing my weakness and vulnerable side.
I used to give happiness and to bring joy to people around me.
"I'm sorry" I broke our hug and I wiped my own tears.
She cupped my face and helped me wipe my tears. "You don't need to be strong all the time."
"I'm... I'm sorry." I dropped my head down.
"I'm your friend. I will always be here for you. You can tell me everything." She stroked my cheek with her thumb.
"I wish but I can't really tell you. I'm sorry." I met her eyes.
"What do you mean?" She looked at me intently.
Suddenly, we heard soft knocks on the door. We immediately stood upright and I turned around away from the door so her mother could not see the tears on my face.
