It was finally the day of her leave. Tomi would be going alone for the time being. Katsumi would be arriving after she finishes filmimg her next movie. Tomi will be staying with her grand-mère and grand-père for the time being as she still need to meet her coach.
But more importantly today was the Kanto finals. Satomi stayed to watch Doubles 2. She saw Kaidoh going through a mental breakdown for a moment, before they recovered, but it was too late. She wanted to stop by the hospital before heading home and leaving for the airport.
She listened to the radio as she headed to the hospital. She met Yukimura walking in the hallway.
"I heard from Kirihara yesterday. He said...He said he saw you helping Seigaku's super rookie. Is this true?" Seiichi said. She stayed quiet for a moment.
"He's ambidextrous when it comes to tennis. His father, the Samurai, was my coach/father's biggest rival. My father was the Mysterious Ninja, and he placed his identity on a bet when playing the Samurai. He lost and gave the public his identity. He retired after that, seeing 'no fun' in getting attention from the public. I hated it, he never went back to pro no matter how hard I tried to convince him. I want to beat him in tennis. But first I must learn to create stepping stones for myself. I taught him the Switch Momentum so that he hopeful turns it into something new and gives me the competition I want. It's not a powerful move unless you add something to it. I simply want competition when I come back. What about you? How are you faring?" Satomi asked half lying.
"I'm doing fine." Seiichi said taking a deep breath.
"I can't thank you enough. I finally know where I'm going with my career." Satomi said. Seiichi smiled.
"I'm glad I could help." He said. Satomi blushed slightly. She took a deep breath and calmed down.
"Has anyone ever told you you're pretty?" Satomi blurted out, and her face turned really red right after that.
"Many have told me I look really feminine." Seiichi said laughing as Satomi hid her face.
"I'm sorry, that was a weird question." Satomi said. Seiichi just laughed.
"You're fine." Seiichi said.
All the sudden a few children ran up to them.
"Onii-chan!" The kids yelled running and hugged Yukimura's legs. Seiichi greeted them and they then turned towards Satomi.
"Nii-san! Is this your girlfriend?" One kid asked. Satomi's race was a tomato by his point.
"N-No, I'm just a friend..." Satomi said. She realized she didn't have her mask or visor on.
'I guess I'll have to be the Hyotei Manager." Satomi thought
"Oh." One boy said.
"You're very pretty Nee-chan." One girl said. Satomi bent down and patted her head giving her a smile.
"And you're very pretty and cute." She said.
"Sei-kun." Satomi said. Yukimura looked at her.
"Yes?" Yukimura asked.
"Doubles 1 just finished. I believe you should call Sanada-san. I'll watch these kids." Satomi said. Yukimura thanked her and headed off. She played for the children for a while.
When Yukimura came the children left while Satomi and Yukimura just chatted for a while. Satomi didn't bring up anything about the future knowing Yukimura was tense at the moment. He was waiting for the regulars to show up.
He kept on calling Sanada ever once in a while.
When Yukimura was calling once Satomi grabbed a pen and paper and while wrote down something before folding it up in an envelope.
