"Look at how fast that serve was, and it seemed to curve off to a side once it bounced. That was her signature serve, the Curve serve. Nothing less is expected of the number 1 and 2 female junior ITFs."One reporter said in the television.
On the TV was a match. It was a doubles match, the finals to be exact. England versus Japan, the Japanese duo wore white black and red outfit.
"Oh! The opponent received it, but it seems Nori is getting prepared for her famous smash." The other reporter said.
"That was quite a smash I'll say!" The first reporter said.
"Truly amazing, and powerful, I wouldn't want to be hit with that." The second reporter said.
"That makes the score 40-Love." The second reporter said.
"The Japanese duo are amazing to watch. They are like Gold and Silver, a shining pair, but each with their own personalities." The first reporter said.
"Stay in tune to watch more of the game. The current score is 6-5 with the games and they are on their third set, if the famous duo of Japan win this next point they win it all!" The second reporter said before the ads. Ryuzaki sighed as Sakuno was watching the television.
"You know, I helped train Tomi before." Coach Ryuzaki told her granddaughter, and that caught Sakuno's attention.
"Really? Was she mysterious as she is right now?" Sakuno asked.
"No, when I met her and helped her hone her skills she still hadn't met her best friend and partner. She was just 'Tomi' nothing more nothing less. Her coach used to be a professional and a student of mine and a rival of Echizen's father." Ryuzaki said
"She was just a beginner back then, new to tennis. Now look at how much she has grown." Coach Ryuzaki said.
"Your right now watching a replay of what happened at the French Open for Female Doubles. The junior's title of course, they need to be a little older to be in the professional league though many believe they are ready for it. (I don't know if it is real or not, so just go with it) Usually it's always the japanese duo, but during the junior title Wimbledon Female Doubles they have no choice but to be separated. As for right now current time, the Nori is playing singles, but not doing so well. They rely on each other during singles matches as each other's pillars of support." Coach Ryuzaki explained.
"What if they play each other in singles?" Sakuno asked.
"Tomi is the number 1 female ITF for the juniors. She's a mystery to all, but she's currently on break." Coach Ryuzaki explained.
"Oh? What happened to Tomi right now then?" Sakuno asked.
"She's not playing for a while. Continue watching this match. See how it ends. You'll know why."
Sakuno turned back to the tv which was back to the game. Tomi had a perfect serve again and was received perfectly and she hit it back at full force, but the opponent at the net hit it behind Nori in No Man's land and Tomi rush to get it, but all the sudden she tripped and fell down as the ball went out of bound. It was the finals match, but the Tomi didn't seem to move for a minute. She adjusted herself to a position where she was sitting and tried to stand up, but fell right back down. The medics along with her coach rushed to her side as a timeout was called. They found she had twisted her ankle, and should have medical treatment immediately. The referee was about the end the game by default, but she stood up.
"No." She said.
"We're continuing. I will finish this game and go to the hospital, and if I am unable to win this point I will forfeit by default." Tomi said. The coach knew how stubborn his player was, so he convinced the referee just to finish it.
