Staying with her mother for a few days made her better. She wanted to go home and grab DeDe, but in doing so she would be discovered.
When it was finally the day of the games she decided to not go with Hyotei. Instead she would be going as Tomi.
She sat near the front hoping that no one would notice her. Luckily the people there were all girls cheering for the Griffy brothers, or teammates and classmates here to cheer on their friends in the Japanese team. Though a few noticed her, no one spoke up. She emitted a dark kind of aura from her.
She took out her phone.
Satomi
To your right when you get on court. I expect only the best performance.Bucho-senpai
So you actually are in Japan, huh? I thought you were joking around.Satomi left the message on read before putting her phone away. She didn't pay much attention to the beginning, but she
When Atobe and Sanada entered the courts Atobe's eyes scanned the crowd to his right. In the front row he saw Tomi sitting there, visor down, legs crossed, masked pulled up to her nose. She gave him a small nod and he just narrowed his eyes at her before turning away. Sanada noticed him and looked at the right side. He was shocked to see Tomi there, but he masked his shock really well. He didn't know Tomi's true identity, but knowing that Atobe knew a junior pro was more than enough.
'I thought she was training in France. How does Atobe know her?' Sanada thought before realizing how foolish his thoughts were.
'He's from the Atobe family, I should expect nothing less from him. Leave it to the rich kid to know the identity of a junior pro.' Sanada thought.
The game started. Atobe and Sanada dominated the first four games. The crowd cheered for them. Tomi had no reaction what so ever.
'Baker-san, just what are you thinking? Well I guess I should thank you for the win.' Tomi said.
She watched during the fifth game the American team started showing their true colors. Sanada and Atobe had horrible synchronization.
The American team caught up quite quickly. Atobe seemed quite angry about the Michael Lee guy.
'Two rich kids battling it at the beautiful sport of tennis. I shouldn't expect any less.' Tomi thought.
Using the Tango Towards Destruction Atobe and Sanada won the game.
After a short break Satomi went back to her seat and saw who was going to play for Doubles 1. Oshitari and Kikumaru of the Japanese team, and The Griffy brothers of the American team. You hated how they were puppets playing by a scenario. Once the game was almost over the Griffy brothers came to realize who they truly were and started playing to their own accord, upsetting Baker, but they won.
Satomi hid in a corner and took off her visor, mask, and jacket stuffing all three in her bag, putting her hair down straight and headed out into the open as Satomi. She encountered the members of the Seigaku team who were not participating in the games.
"Do you know where Bucho-senpai is?" She asked them.
"Buchou-senpai?" Momoshiro asked.
"She means the Hyotei captain, peachhead." Kaidoh said. The two of them got into an argument.
"Atobe-san, is probably with the rest of the Japanese team." Oishi said. Satomi thanked them and headed away, but she left a tap on her shoulder. She turned around to see Sengoku.
"Oh, Sengoku-senpai, shouldn't you be warming up?" Satomi asked.
"Eh, you're actually talking to me? Lucky~" He said.
"Sengoku-senpai, either conserve your energy or warm up. We don't want Japan to lose." Satomi said.
"Aw you care about me!" Sengoku gushed while holding her hands creeping Satomi out a little.
"And what's your name beautiful?" Sengoku asked holding her hands.
"I-I'm Beauchène Satomi, the manager of the Hyotei tennis team." Satomi said. Sengoku let go of her hands.
"Oh, I should get going, but I'll see you around." He said winking at her before leaving.
'No offesne, but I don't really want to see each other again...' Satomi thought.
Singles 3 started. Sengoku and his opponent Bobby Max were pretty equal. Sengoku used his boxing technique tennis to play Bobby Max. But in the end both of them collapsed giving into exhaustion, making it a draw.
Singles 2 was announced as Fuji vs Arnold.
The American team rep played using a type of tennis where precision is everything, but due to the dome closing because of the rain there was no wind for Hakugei and the American team rep finding out about how to counter Fuji's Higuma Otoshi, Fuji was left to use Tsubame Gaeshi, but the American Team soon found out how Fuji was able to hit it despite him hitting the ball with no spin.
Fuji pulled through and won the match 6-4.
Everyone was anticipating the last match, Kevin Smith vs either Kirihara or Echizen.
Everyone was dead silent as they waited for the names to appear. When it appeared at last, Seigaku was shock...and disappointed...Kirihara's name appeared.
Tomi looked at the time. She had to go home. Her plane left later tonight. She knew that she would only be able to stay for part of it. She stood up and walked away. As she was at the exit she took one last glance back.
"I'll leave it to you to finish, Echizen." Tomi said with a strained smile hidden behind her mask before leaving.
