Satomi sat on the bench one hand holding her clipboard, the other twirling a pencil. She would be more focused on the match in front of her, but Hyotei, not even using all of their regulars, were winning with ease. Their coach didn't think it would be necessary for him to be there, so he just asked Satomi to be the bench coach.
They won in the finals but Doubles 2 let the other team score one game.
When they stood in front of Satomi after their match she had her normal creepy closed eye smile, but her facial expression changed in a nanosecond. Her metal blue EYE glared at them as her lips pointed downward.
"That was disappointing. We are Hyotei, if this was the Metropolitan matches I understand one game, but it's regionals! This is why you aren't regulars. Kaida-senpai! You're scrunching your elbow in causing majority of your hits to be slow paced! Ogawa-senpai! If you're going to do lobs make sure they stay inside the court! You dare call yourselves pre-regulars." Satomi scolded. Atobe just watched them get scolded with a smile.
The other team was surprised.
"She called them senpai."
"I thought she was their coach?"
"No way, Hyotei's coach never comes to these 'unimportant' matches, that's their manager."
"Manager? She is allowed to scold her senpais?"
"I heard of her, last year they called her the Hyotei Doll."
"Shows you the strict policies at Hyotei."
"Upperclassmen shouldn't have younger girls yell at them."
"Now, now, don't go badmouthing our manager. She seems sweet and nice with a smile she usually greets with, but when it comes to discipline, she's second best after coach, to the point even Buchou-san follows her every order." Gakuto said greeting the members of the opponent's team. Oshitari stood behind him. All the members of the team got surprised and stopped talking.
"You're right, she's Hyotei's doll, but she's not that fragile. Quite the opposite in fact." Oshitari said.
"Doubles 1, don't make them same mistakes. Mistakes are there for you to learn from, but if you don't change your mistakes they become bad habits." Sayomi said. She internally praised herself, she picked up her mother's acting skills. Each of her three different identities have three different voices and personalities.
Her real identity Yoshida Satomi was a quiet and reserved girl who simply wanted a normal life and that was her true personality. Her tennis identity, Tomi, was a cold and 'self-centered' young lady. Her school identity Beauchêne Satomi, was a strict, smart, and expressionless woman who had a lot of authority.
Keeping her acting straight, she was currently able to pull of her identity as Beauchêne Satomi.
"So harsh Chibi-chan." Atobe said with a smirk.
"You're just jealous you can't sit on this bench as the bench coach." Satomi said. Atobe gave a light chuckle.
"Don't be so rude. Your the Hyotei doll, you shouldn't be so rude, you should be fragile." Atobe said.
Satomi hated that name 'Hyotei Doll' she was the most famous girl at Hyotei Junior High Academy, every girl envied her. She always made the school proud, earning her the name Hyotei's Doll. Dolls were supposed to be fragile, clearly scolding her senpais doesn't seem like it would be something a very fragile person would do.
"Buchou-senpai, if you really wanted I could give you some more fried crickets." Satomi said. Atobe glared at his kohai who was sitting on the bench like she didn't do anything. The coach gave her full authority, even over Atobe, so he couldn't do anything.
