The sounds of the ocean waves is all that I seem to hear. My body ached every time the ship rocked against the currents due to the position I seemed to be in. I wanted my arms to fall down to my sides, but they couldn't. I weakly tried to do so, but the sound of metal was heard as I moved, indicating I was shackled to the wall. I open my eyes as they tried to adjust to the darkness.

Remembering just what had happened, my eyes widened in fear as I moved my arms around in an attempt to free myself. I shakily stand up from my spot as I began to pull myself forward to try and break the chains, although I'm not that strong to begin with, but it was worth trying.

Thump.

Thump.

Footsteps... my heart was beating so fast hearing them. He was coming, it had to be! Out of pure fear, I tried to get out of these chains even though it was futile. I just didn't want to be here, not in front of that man!

"Why is there so much noise here?" his gruff voice spoke.

I remained silent as I stood there like a deer caught in headlights. My breathing was ragged, waiting for him to enter this room. I watched as the door opened and he turned on the lights, blinding my vision for a moment.

"Why are you making a fuss?" he asked. Again, I remain silent and needless to say, he was not happy by my defiant action. "You're annoying me, my love. Won't you tell me what's wrong?"

"Don't... call me that." I spoke with a shaky voice. "Just let me go!"

"Let you... go?" he repeated slowly. "Why would I do that? Are you not happy with your room? I decorated it with things you like."

"I don't want to be here, Kid!" I shouted. "Take me back to the Straw Hats!"

Out of anger, Kid punched a nearby object, sending it towards the wall of the ship as it broke in the process. I closed my mouth as my lips tightened to a fine line not knowing what to do. The fist his used to punch was still clenched tightly and his expression was something only I can explain as inhuman. His eyes were bulging out of his sockets as his teeth clenched tightly, looking directly at the floor.

"Why must you be defiant?" he growled lowly. "Can't you see I'm protecting you? They'll damage your precious skin if you stay with them. They're careless, but with me, I'll preserve your beauty and make sure no harm will come to you. I won't even allow another living being to even spare you a glance." Kid then reaches over to touch my cheek, but I retract my face and sit back down against the wall. He frowns at this and instead sat down on the floor with me.

'What the hell is wrong with this guy?!" I thought to myself. 'His bounty description never said anything about this side of him!'

"You fascinate me, (Y/n)." he said softly, trying to change the subject. "From the moment I saw your bounty, I was infatuated from your beauty, so I followed your journey through paper. Rumors of your strength was on the rise, and it made me even more intrigued. I was eager to hopefully meet you in Sabaody Archipelago, but I couldn't wait any longer... I had to have you to myself sooner than I initially thought. I killed many for an eternal pose in order to head in the same direction of your ship in the Grand Line... Can you feel my undying love for you?" The look on his face changes to one who is infatuated, yet desperate as he inched closer to me. "This heart can't get enough of you. I've watched and followed your journey... I know everything about you from your likes and dislikes to even the small little quirks you do-"

"Stop!" I shouted, cutting him off. "That isn't normal! You're insane! I don't even know you!"

"You'll know me soon enough." he smiled softly as he reached for my cheek once more. I tried to lean away from his touch, but the wall behind me prevented me to do so, so I tried to move from my spot, but Kid forcefully grabbed me by my chin and brought me close to his face. He smiled down at me, but it didn't look right. It looked as if an evil villain was watching their plan fall into place flawlessly. "You'll have time to get to know me and I assure you, you'll fall for me."

"Not even in your dreams!" Upon my retaliation, Kid frowned at my response and clenched my cheeks tightly with his fingers, making me yelp in pain.

"You have no where to go and the only person you can interact with is me, and me alone." he smiled sickeningly. "I'll make sure your time with me is well spent. There will never be a dull moment."

"Th-They'll find me!" I blurted out trying to sound brave, but failing to stay composed. "They'll find me and take me back to their ship!"

"I already took that into account." he said calmly. "I can't let them take you when I finally got to meet you face to face. If they're going to be a threat, I'll get rid of them, and then no one can stand in our way." He whispered those last eight words in my ear and it sent chills up my spine. I was afraid, but I had to remain strong. There's no way Luffy and the others will lose to them! Our journey had barely begun!

I eyed Kid as he pulled away from my ear and he looked down at me lovingly. He then placed his other hand on my other cheek as he gingerly pet my cheeks with his thumbs. I scowled at the man before me, as my face flushed red out of frustration. I felt so goddamn helpless that it was pissing me off! I felt tears trying to trickle out of me, but I held them in so he wouldn't have any satisfaction off of it.

"The Straw Hats will win." I finally spoke, causing Kid to stop petting me. He looked me directly in my eyes and I can see his eyes losing it's light visibly as it gradually turned dull and dead. Seeing it change like that made me pale as my fear rose even more than it was before.

Kid pulled away from my face and stood up clenching his fists, yet his face remained unreadable. It looked as if there were a million thoughts zooming in his mind and he couldn't formulate them into words, so he remained standing there. The silence in the room was making me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. I want to leave here... now.

"I don't like how highly you speak of the Straw Hats." he said blandly, breaking the silence. "Maybe I should have just ended them there when I took you, maybe then your mind will be free of them and be filled with thoughts of only me... ah, that sounds nice." he chuckled bitterly. "I think I'll make that come to fruition."

"Don't you dare! I-I'll hate you if you even try!" I cried out trying to utilize his 'love' for me to stop him.

"Hate... me?" he repeated as if it were a foreign word to him. "That hatred will die out in due time. Like I've said, you'll only have me around you. I'm your only source to socialize with, you're bound to speak to me one or another... it's a basic human need to interact with someone, unless you're willing to go insane. I don't mind what you choose, I'll have you either way, because my love for you knows no bounds."

"This isn't love! It's an obsession!" you screamed.

"Obsession you say?" he says with a look of distaste. "I wouldn't have to be this way if you would have just accepted my feelings. You created this side of me, a side where I'd become addicted to you, crazed for you, and infatuated in you. If you would have said yes, we'd be happier and you'd roam free, however, I think I like it better this way. To keep you caged in like a bird and have little mobility... I can watch over you properly."

"I can't accept feelings of someone who's crazy! You're in your own little world who can't differentiate what's real and what's not! Everything you play in your head isn't going to become real just because it's what you want to happen!" I shouted angrily, losing all fear at that very moment.

"You're making me angry, (Y/n)." he snarled. "I'm trying my hardest to stay composed, and let you love me within due time, but perhaps that method isn't going to work..." he says dangerously low as he walked towards me once more and crouched to my level. "Perhaps I should show you a new form of love..."

"A new form... of love?" I questioned out of uncertainty.

"A love where I must destroy you in order to be with you... so, shall we begin? My dearest (Y/n)?"
