Going to unpublish the Kid x Samurai! Reader one shots because I feel like there isn't a story developed enough for me to write it. I need to figure out what I want to do with it... I'm not sure if I want to scrap the whole thing and rewrite it into something else, or to just delete it. Depends on how I feel about it, but I know it's a concept I want to do.

This one shot deals with corpses and the reader being a murderer for her own self gain, so there's that lol. If you don't like the idea of reading about those things, please skip this one.

I stood by a desk, reading a a list on a piece of paper I had written on. It held ingredients I would need for a couple of potions I would need in my journey. I was trying to infiltrate a sacred place hidden from the human eye and in order to attain an item that I greedily wanted for myself, I need to steal it. It was a silver tazza cup that held a liquid that grants immortality. If I were to have that, I can continuously cause havoc into this god forsaken world. I am tired of humanity in itself, whether it be pirates, marines, or civilians, I wish for them to all disappear, and with that power, I wouldn't have to worry about my life and let my magic do its work.

I look up from my potion making to look at the wall before me. The bounties of many pirates hung on my wall with X's crossed on their faces. I smiled wickedly knowing that I had executed them within my last couple of journey's of seeking the forbidden place. I didn't care for their bounties, but their blood has aided me in my time of need. I look over to the corner of the room where their corpses rotted, the stench emanating around the room. It was a horrid sight, but to me, they were nothing but ingredients that I needed. I smiled as I eyed a white uniform on one of the corpse, it was a marine that had tried to investigate on what the smell was. It was a pity, I was already finished with using human blood for a batch of potions I had already made, so her corpse will have no meaning. In my defense... I gave her warning to leave, but she was stubborn and she stood her ground, knowing my identity. She was strong willed, but she was weak, far too weak against me...

"If only you had walked away..." I said, talking to her fresh corpse. "Now you died in vain. Don't worry, I feel bad for making your corpse useless, perhaps I'll let your comrades find you."

I then turn away and refocus on my potions. I mixed the ingredients together as they swirled in harmony, the colors bonding into one. The metal spoon I had been using to mix had now disintegrated within the glowing liquid. I hummed in content as I tossed what was left of the spoon as I grabbed the beaker and carefully poured them within separate little magical balls. I then sealed them so they wouldn't be activated upon dropping it on accident. I grabbed them and placed them into its own compartment on my utility belt. I believe I now have every spell I would need in order to take down whatever that place throws at me.

I begin to grab the empty equipment, ready to get rid of any evidence I was here, but the moment I was ready, I heard a series of footsteps on the sandy beach outside this little hut. I freeze in my spot, but I don't panic. It seems there they were docking, but why would they dock on this side of this island? The ports are on the other side, unless they're hiding from any marines lingering on this island. I quietly set my equipment down and tip toed my way to the door, pressing my ear against the rotted wood.

"Hurry up! We need to leave this island as quickly as possible! There's a lot of marines here, so don't catch their attention!" a gruff voice shouted. I heard a bunch of men shout a quick 'yes, captain' before their footsteps headed off in a different direction.

'They shouldn't be able to see this place, it's cloaked at the moment.' I thought to myself.

"Wire, I need you two to make sure everyone is in order, I don't want them getting caught." the same man spoke.
