Haneul lied flat on her bed, her hair hung loose at the end, her phone beside her. The clock read 11:02 pm, by now everyone was sure that she would be asleep but she wasn't.

As mentioned before, she had experience sneaking out of her house a few times but that was in broad daylight, never nighttime.

So of course, she was nervous and anxious. The fact that Jeno wasn't contacting her at all made it worse. What if he forgot? She thought, but it would be embarrassing for her to call him and ask him to come.

In the end, all she did was wait. However, she gave up soon enough and decided to ring him even if she knew she was going to die out of embarrassment. As the girl positioned herself to sit, she suddenly heard rustling sound coming from her balcony.

It couldn't be Jeno as he said he would text her once he's outside the house. Besides, it would be difficult for him to enter as she had very tall gates.

She got down from her bed and decided to head to the balcony. The girl grabbed her umbrella which she left and forgot to place it downstairs. Luckily, she could now use it for her self defense.

Quietly, she approached the balcony where the rustling and shuffling sounds had been hushed. Haneul raised her umbrella and was ready to swing it, she grabbed the curtains that was covering her sight and quickly she pushed it aside and was ready to hit, only to find her sister's cat.

The cat let out a meow and the girl sighed out of relief. "Stella, what are you doing here?" She sighed and picked up the big orange coloured cat. Luckily, it didn't try to run away. Haneul placed her umbrella aside and decided to close the door to her balcony.

"She's cute."

Haneul almost scream out of surprise. Jeno stood there with a smile, he tilted his head slightly and looked at the cat lovingly. "How did you get inside?" She asked and walked inside her room to release the cat. "Wasn't easy, required a lot of climbing." He chuckled.

The girl noticed his eyes were on the cat, he seemed to really like it. "You like cats?" She asked and sat on her bed. Haneul tapped on her bed and called the cat in which it jumped and walked towards her.

Jeno didn't hesitate to pat the cat and sat on her bed, he was smiling widely at how the cat purred to his touch. "I had one, but my mum gave it away because I kept on sneezing." He said. "Oh my God, why are you touching it?" Haneul almost panicked and took away his hand from Stella.

"I'm fine, as long as the cat doesn't run its fur on me." He laughed. "Oh." Haneul said and realised how embarrassing it was for her to panic for no reason. The two looked down and found their hands together. Haneul pulled her hand away slowly but the male was quick enough to grab it back.

"Come on, the mission hasn't started yet."

He smiled in which she replied with one nervously. Haneul couldn't explain the wild heartbeats she was getting. She was having a hard time telling if it was from his touch or from the smile but she was certain of one thing; it was because of him.

The two managed to escape from her house, it was crazy trying to run away from the people in her house on foot. Nonetheless, the two made it to the funfair. It was located a few blocks from her house, provided they had to go through the tunnel she was so afraid of.

Jeno never released the hold of her hand, and she was thankful for that. All the nervousness that she felt especially when going through the tunnel was somehow gone by his secure.

Unfortunately, Haneul broke the contact as soon as they arrived at the funfair. She was amazed at such sight. The lights were bright of various colours and it shined towards the dark sky. Even this late, a lot of people were there. She could hear different music coming from different rides and the sound of people screaming out of joy made the place alive.
