Dispite how late Natsu went to bed, it was the same. He woke up in a cold sweat no more than three hours later. His breath was shakey, he was pale and colder than normal. His heart racing and his head pounding. The pounding in his head decreased with his heart rate going back into the healthy zone.

Natsu tried his best to relax and laydown in his bed. He stopped screaming in his sleep a few years ago, but not without whispers or whimpers. Sometimes a yelp or two is let out. Natsu knew it would be a good idea to have some pain medicine right now, but he didn't want to wake Gray up.

What if the floor creaks? What if Gray wakes up? What if Natsu slips? What if Gray gwts angry at him? What if Natsu woke gray up accidentally? What if- no. Stop. Stop it with the what ifs. Just go get some medicine and don't fuck it up like everything else.

But what if I do?

Natsu pulled at his hair, a small screetch escaped his lips. Natsu slapped his hands over his mouth. It had been loud, hopefully, not loud enough to wake Gray up.

Afterall who likes to be woken up super early?

"Mm Natsu?" A sleepy voice came from Natsu's doorway.

"I'm sorry, it's nothing. You can go back to sleep." Natsu felt terrible, that it was his fault.

Gray blinked a few times and rubbed his eyes, he looked Natsu over. Natsu looked like hell, anyone could see it. Even tired ol Gray Fullbuster.

"What the fuck is wrong?" Gray placed a hand on Natsus forehead as Natsu protested, pursuading Gray to go back to bed.

"Nothing-" Natsu kept saying nothing over and over again when asked by Gray.

Gray lost his cool, "Stop fucking liying. I know your not fucking okay so why don't you just tell me what the fuck is wrong? You look like a god dam train wreck."

Natsu stiffened surprised by Gray's outburst.

"Can we please talk about this later?" Natsu's pulse started to rise again.

Natsu's breath become more rigid and his vison slightly changing.

Gray was going to respond when Natsu started hyperventilating.

"Natsu, whats wrong?" Gray grabbed Natsu's shoulders.

Natsu's feet slipped down, and he landed on his ass.

"Im going back to sleep." Natsu stoodup swaying a little bit and proceeded to push through Gray and flop down on his bed.

Natsu fell asleep pretty fast. Gray shrugged and went back to his room to sleep. "I'll get awnsers from him later."

By 10 o'clock am, Gray was awake and in the kitchen sipping tea with his blue tea set he had brought from his house.

Natsu wasn't up yet.

By 10:30 am, Natsu still wasn't up. By this point Gray concidered waking him up. He decied to give Natsu another thirty minutes before waking him up for awnsers about earlier.

11 am on the dot, is when Natsu woke up. Gray was on the way to wake Natsu up when Gray saw Natsu coming down the hall in a big oversized red sweater that went half way to his knees.

Gray didn't see anysign of pants, under that sweater. "Natsu put some dam underwear on."

"I have underwear on!" Natsu yawned trying to sound angry, but it ended up for like a tired kitten.

Natsu pulled up his sweater to reveal some tight white boxers, ones that revealed a little too much.

Gray felt his face go hot before yanking the sweater out of Natsu's hand, letting it cover his boxers back up.

"So.." Gray handed Natsu a cup of tea, "About earlier.."

"Nothing too important, it happens alot. PTSD nightmares waking me up in a cold sweat." Natsu sipped the tea.

🍵

"How the fuck is that not important?"

"Like I said, it happens alot."

"What's alot?"

"Three to four times a week."

"How long has this been going on?"

"Since before I met igneel, I'm not telling you why. Your not a therapist and I dont want to talk about it." Natsu snapped some tea spilling out of the cup.
Natsu almost immeadly cleaned it up.

"Um...okay.." Gray didn't know what to say or what to do.
"Are we going to the guild?"

"Why wouldn't we?" Natsu finished his tea and began digging around his kitchen.

"Dunno this seems important." Gray was looking for a chef's knife so he could cut some fruits.

"Well I'm going to the guild." Natsu started making a sandwich for himself and maybe one for Gray too, "Want a sandwich?"

"Nah, and do you have a Chef's knife?" Gray kept looking.

Natsu shivered, "No, Never in a million years."

Gray looked at him in confusion.
Natsu sighed.

"Part of what happened to give me PTSD, involved a Chef's knife. So they kinda make me freak out." Natsu tried to make it as vauge as possible.

"Oh. So um.. Can I ask a question?"

"Shoot."

"What's it like to have Cyclo-whatcha- ma-call-it?"

"Oh, it's kind of hard to explain, sometimes my emotions get really unstable othertimes I'm almost completely apathetic. Other times I'm neither, in the middle like normal." Natsu finished making some sandwitches.

Natsu handed Gray his sandwich.
Natsu bit into his own.

Gray nodded somewhat understanding, and thanked him for the food.
