Natsu doesnt know how to handel emotions. Especialy not complex ones, one in particular that he constantly ran away from. Ever since Gray moved in with Natsu, his emotions had been stiring. Natsu, like always, pushed feeling hat he didnt know how to handel, down untuill they dont bother him. Love, the one thing that he thrived on, His love for his friends, His love of Igneel, His love of Life in general, He couldn't handel romantic love.

Gray Fulbuster, His rival, His best friend, His house mate, and the person he denies his feelings to the most.
Natsu realized the signs, he just ignored them.

He would constantly tell himself; No your not allowed to feel this way twords Gray, you 'll only get hurt You would ruin your friendship. You would loose him. Gray would never like you back. He likes other people. Let him be happy. You would just drag him down. Why would he love me? Why would anyone? Your stupid and pathetic, your only good for fighting and eating all the food. What could you possibly offer him that he couln t find anywhere else?

Natsu was fairly sure that wasn't healthy.

Natsu had a flash back to when he was a child, before he was with Igneel, With his no-good witch-bitch of a mother.

Natsu's vision was hazy, he stood in a small toddler form in front of a mirror. He wore a too small shirt that clung to him like he was glue, You could make out every one of his ribs.

His mother never fed him or Sylvia enough. When he says not enough, he means never. They would always have to ask thier dad or sneak food while they could.

Natsu's hair was matted and greasy and started to be concidered 'Long'.

Sylvia had long black hair and blue ends, with the same golden eyes they shared, though she was a year younger she looked the same as Natsu.

They had an older brother who was treated like a god, he had black hair and red eyes. The same as thier mother.

Natsu sat on the floor in thier room.
Sylvia sat with her back facing Natsu. Natsu applied bandages to where she had been injured.

Mum and Dad were part of clans, as they called it. Theese Clans could use bloodline magic ic that was powerfal but only if you had the blood.

His mother's magic could stop things, and destory things; while on the other hand his father's magic could bend nature.

Thier brother was exellent at using mother's magic, while Sylvia was good with dads.
Natsu sucked at both.
So he was a dissapointment, as his mother put it.
"You cant even stop this god dam bottle you little brat! Your such a dissapointment, you should aspire to be like your brother. "

Natsa's brother, he didn't rember his name but he rembered him giving Sylvia and Natsu food.

Sylvia went to sleep in her hamnock after Natsu finished puting band-aids on her back. Natsu sat in the cormer of the room, Natsu's dad had no idea what thier mother did to them, he was always too drunk or too tired to notice Natsu heard the door slam shut, it meant that dad was home.

Natsu peaked outside and saw the sky was dark and littered with stars.
Natsu opened his door quietly and peaked around the corner to see if it was safe. He didn't see hear his mother yelling, he walked quietly to the living room.

His father was having a beer while his mother was cuddled up to him. His father had pink hair and gold eyes Like natsu, but his face was more manly, while he had his mothers face shape, like all his siblings.
His parents wore clothes that resembled a tribe or a toga, either way, lots of skin was exposed

"Dad? Natsu asked, His mother glared at hin.

"Natsu, mabey you should go to your room, and sleep. It's Late." Her voice was cold, and held hidden meaning.

"The boy is fine. Yes, Natsu?" His dad drank more beer.

"Can I have something to eat?" Natsu asked.

"You, Just. Ate. Five. Minutes. Agn" His mother faked a sweet smile and gritted her teeth, her eyes looked murderous, "Time for bed."

She grabbed Natsu by the wrist and dragged him into his room again, "If you think we love you, we don't Who rould love you? Your nothing but a disgrace and a dissapointment."

Thoes were her words before she left, locking the door behind her.

As the rest of the memory faded away, Natsu's breath was shaky.
He calmed himself, But she was right, Who could ove him?
Not Gray, so he pushed his feelings for him down under lockdown But they have been resurfacing recently, and he wasn't sure if he could keep his feelings on lock down this time.
