Natsu sipped some boiling tea, "Well the stories differentiate, I don't know what's fact and myth but I'll tell you what I know."
"Well?"Gray asked impatiently.
"Well, wait why are you so interested in Ice Dragons, Gray?" Natsu looked at him in confusion, "Where did you even hear about ice dragons?"
"I just kinda assumed they exist, and I'm curious about Ice dragon-slayers because I want to know if I'm stronger," Gray sighed and looked Natsu in the eyes to prove he wasn't lying.
"You are not stronger, well, except for the fact that they rarely exist and not possible to exist now." Natsu frowned, "Well onto the myths. First off, when the era of dragons was coming to an end, some accepted it, others, like ice dragons, did not. They somehow got frozen into the ice caps, I don't know how but it's ironic. They were typically loners, even more so than normal, and extremely unlike the superior fire dragons."
"Superior? You're biased. Ice dragons are probably better," Gray rolled his eyes.
"Fuck you, Ice dragons are supposed to be rude as fuck and more murderous than Purple guy who was a child serial killer. Oh wait you don't know FNAF, forget the analogy. Ice dragons have killed humans, probably, more than the dragons that accepted the end of the dragon rein over humanity," Natsu offered Gray some tea while drinking the last of his cup.
"What did fire dragons think? About the end of the dragon rein," Gray took the cup of tea from Natsu, noting that Natsu had been fiddling with his hands the whole time, in a kind of anxious way.
"Well, most of them saw it coming and accepted it, Igneel did at least, but he still thought dragons were better because duh, but there were a few who didn't really like humans. You see Gray, Fire dragons are the most common type of dragon, and they um, tend to be, uh more...family oriented." Natsu's fiddling got a bit more aggressive as he got nearer to the end of the sentence.
"Oh, okay. Uh, your hand-" Gray was cut off by Natsu talking more about Ice dragons.
Natsu continued on about how they, in theory, they were supposed to be more of loners with and Icy rage in their blood, and Natsu had speculated about instead of breathing ice it's more like a frost that builds up to ice.
"Hey, Gray?" Natsu's eyes lit up like he did when he has ideas.
"Yea?" Gray was staring at Natsu's hair, it looked soft and nice but he felt like his hair should be stiff because it pokes out everywhere, but it's not.
"What if Ice mage and a Fire mage did a unison raid and used blue fire, which is basically, fire cold as ice?" Natsu started bouncing in place.
Gray met his eyes and grinned, "We can find out, I suppose."
Natsu grinned back, but because there's a mysterious force that says Erza has been gone too long, so Erza climbed through Natsu's kitchen window to see the boys giggling about unison raids.
"You two are not doing that around me. You'll destroy half of Mongolia." Erza had a shirt on that said UWU.
*cough cough* @armored_strawberry *cough cough*
"Nice shirt, Erza," Natsu laughed.
"Thanks." Erza started to make her way to the fridge, and pulled out a box of strawberries that clearly said on a sticky note, 'DO NOT EAT @ ERZA'
"Did you write that?"Gray asked Natsu referring to the sticky note.
Natsu sighed, "Yea. It's not effective."
"I can see that," Gray laughed.
"You two aren't fighting as much? That's nice," Erza silently hoped that they would bicker a little so she could use an abbreviation she saw earlier in a fanfic.
