The two boys had successfully reached argus, it was around 8 pm and the sun wasn't peak hight in the sky anymore, but it was blazing brilliantly sending heat waves down upon Earth land. Gray had to physically drag Natsu by the foot off the train from his heaving and motion sickness. The second they were off the train Natsu jumped up as if he was just resurrected, on the way up his head hit Gray under his jaw.

"Oh my god, I'm sorry! Gray, are you ok??" Natsu put his hand over his mouth, eyes wide.

"Yeah, I'm fine, you ass." Gray said playfully, "It's alright tho."

Natsu made an obnoxious gasp in fake hurt, "You wound me!"

"Guess you'll have to stay in bed and cuddle with me until you get better then," Gray smirked.

"Oh well, I guess, I have no choice," Natsu giggled looking up and made a 'what can I do' pose with his hands with a signature shit-eating grin.

"Mhm, no choice at all." Gray put an arm around Natsu and pulled him close.

Natsu smirked and snuggled closer to Gray, "Nope."

Keep in mind, they're in the middle of the train station and people passing them giving looks, generally either 'aww' or 'ew PDA'.

Natsu looked around, seemed to realize people were staring, "We should go..."

Natsu shifted under their glances.

Gray agreed and they left hand in hand, "Are we walking the rest of the way?"

"No, dummy. That would take too long."

"What then?"

"We fly!"

"What???"

"I have a spell that lets me have fire wings and fly, you're going have to hug me since the wings are kinda on my arms."

"Oh."

Natsu and Gray walked to the north end of the town, it stretched into green fields with flowers, weeds and wild animals, in the distance you could see two mountains that scratched out a valley in the distance.

During thier walk north, Natsu and Gray passed many shops and pushed past many different diverse people. Natsu grabbed Gray's hand and danced a little with him on the sidewalk. Gray looked lovingly at his boyfriend's big smile.

Gray would point out historical landmarks, Natsu didn't exactly look impressed with the landmarks, but Gray's intelligence was impressive.

Natsu could tell Gray what was being cooked in restaurants precisely, more or less with drooling.

"I don't know how you can deal with smelling and seeing everything." Gray looked down smiling and shaking his head.

Natsu paused and looked at him in surprise with his hands behind his head, "It's bittersweet. Like I can smell the good things and the bad things, but mostly I'm indifferent to most of it. Like Lucy had used Juvia's rose shampoo and her normal apple conditioner."

If anyone you know that GIF of Qrow from v3 of RWBY after his fight with winter where he points at himself, it's like that but no pointing.

"You can tell that?" Gray suddenly felt acutely aware of his hair products, then remembered Natsu bought him some and relaxed.

"Yea, It's pretty subtle tho. Erza changed her detergents lately and it's tripping me up." Natsu continued walking past him, "coming or nah?"

"Yeah." Gray jogged ahead to catch up.

Once they reached the north end of Argus Natsu skipped out onto the green fields.

"So I'm supposed to... hug you?" Gray sighed, that sounded cute but embarrassing.

"Yea like a bear hug from the front! and be sure to wrap your hands around my neck and feet around my waist so you don't fall!" Natsu opened his arms in preparation.

"Ugh okay," Gray complained complying, but secretly he enjoyed it since Natsu smells like cinnamon and pastries.

Natsu grinned setting his arms ablaze, the fire taking the shape of wings. Natsu jumped, Gray's eyes popped, but Natsu used his firey wings like normal wings and flew through the sky smiling and laughing. Natsu missed this feeling, the feeling of wind in his hair and against his face, the air wrapping around his body as he flew. The sense of looming danger if he were to do one wrong move. Something like that would normally make him anxious but Igneel taught him how to fly. Natsu fully believed in his flying capabilities, there was also the nostalgia from flying with Igneel.

It was always so fun, and light-hearted, with the occasional more serious tones.

Gray on the other hand- wasn't so happy. He was squeezing onto Natsu for dear life. His eyes were wide open peering over Natsu's shoulder from the front and his hair was flying in the wind. This did give him anxiety, how close they were to trees or how close they were to hitting rocks. The fall down wouldn' t be pleasant if he fell. He won't fall, Natsu wouldn't let that. RIght?

Natsu flew right through that valley and above several springs, Natsu made a sharp turn and flew through a cave in the mountain to the left, Gray screeched, while Natsu laughed.

"Don't worry Gray you're fine!" Natsu reassured.

Natsu started to slow down, and eventually, he came to a stop. Normally, Natsu would summersault down, landing and putting out his fire wings simultaneously, but Gray would've gotten hurt if he did that. Or at least scared.

The valley they were in was a little misty, there was a river running through that branched off into a medium sized spring, there was the end of the mountains and the valley, that lay an ominous hill. On top that hill was a single lone blue cornflower glowing flower not in bloom unlike all the other flowers, another small difference was the flower was a foot in diameter. The petals were huge, at least a middle fingers length each and a hand wide.

Gray let go of Natsu and hit the ground wheezing, "I hate that!"

"Aw, I like flying! Maybe you'd like it better if it was on a dragon..." Natsu helped Gray up.

"Is it that blue cornflower?" gray asked.

Natsu hummed one of agreement

"It is 9 pm. We have 3 hours to spare until the flower blooms. The flower blooms at midnight till sunrise." Natsu sat down taking a deep breath of the clean, unpolluted air.

The sun was setting, you could see the reflection of the sun in the spring and river, It lit and dimmed the trees, mountains, and valley. You could see the more nocturnal animals start to come out and crickets started chirping its song, the song for the night, unlike the morning birds songs. clouds were moving and it revealed twinkling stars that made patterns in the sky.

"Alright," Gray sat next to Natsu.

"Igneel didn't raise me too far from here actually." Natsu smiled in memory.

"Was it this pretty?"

"Prettier. It was more woodsy and the fruit was plentiful."

Natsu pointed out several constellations, The stars were brighter than Gray had ever seen.

Gray felt a bunny hop into his lap and then out in a heartbeat. This place was wild, untouched by man and undisturbed. It was refreshing, it felt nice to know not all of the wild is gone yet.

I could totally make this longer but I have summer school but I want to write the next chapter tomorrow. Don't hold me to that.
