Jeremy let out a deep breath and headed back out into the chaos that was the hallway, he headed upstairs to his first class. He sat down and started to doodle on his sketchbook and when he finally calmed down the teacher spoke up "okay everyone time to take roll", the teacher went down a list of names before calling out his "Jeremy Heere?" Jeremy looked down and said "here" quietly. All his classes that day seemed to blend together with introductions and such but Jeremys day really got started when he went to his final class of the day, acting 1, he wasnt exactly sure why he was in that class since he wasnt very out going but he thought hed give it a try. He opened the door to the dance studio that doubled as the theatre arts room, everyone knew each other and was laughing so Jeremy decided to grab a seat on the ground and start sketching until he saw a familiar red sweater across the room. It was the boy from earlier today and he was sitting by a pretty girl with short black hair. The boy mustve seen him staring so he got up and walked over to him "hey, i met you earlier but i dont think we've formally met, im Michael, Michael Mell" he said with a bright grin spread across his face "h-hey im Jeremy" jeremy stammered. As soon as those words left his mouth, class had begun, the theatre teachers name was Mr Reyes and he begun class abruptly. "Good afternoon kids, to get us started today weare gonna play some simple improv games" Michael smiled and said a loud "hell yeah!". Jeremy had no idea what to expect, they played so many games where you just had to go up and say random stuff and to most people it was fun, but for him it was a nightmare. Jeremy didnt find much of it funny, it was mostly people yelling and trying way too hard to be funny until Michael went up. The game was called "the worst thing to say when", the prompt was "whats the worst thing to say after a break-up" And Michael stood up and said "i miss my dad". The whole class roared with laughter. Jeremy envied Michael and his confidence, and his smile, and his looks, jeremy thought about Michael and his bright smile before whispering a small "oh no".
