It was advice

Lexa threw punch after punch at Cassius. It had been about two hours since they had started and the girl had yet to make a sound. That was the exercise; to see how long she could be tortured before she had finally had enough. So far, Cassius had been doing pretty well. Anya, the heda, walked in and stopped Lexa from giving another blow. "Enough," she said with authority.

Two male warriors unbounded Cassius' hands. Cassius spat blood on the floor and reached for her water bottle that a grounder had brought her. After a week and a half of training with them not all of the warriors had exactly warmed up to her, though a good majority of them had. Cassius assumed it had to do with the fact that she had taken down four warriors on her first day of training. That kind of thing earned respect amongst the grounders.

Anya approached Cassius who was still struggling to catch her breath. Before she could open her mouth Cassius spoke to her. "Why are you rushing my training?" Anya shot her a questioning look. "Lexa may have hinted at it," Cassius explained.

"Not that I have to explain anything to you," Anya started, "you are a brilliant warrior. I didn't see the need in starting from the very beginning."

Cassius raised an eyebrow. "Right. And what else?"

"The Skaikru have arranged for a meeting between leaders. I want you there." Anya told her. Her tone held no room for further discussion. She motioned for the two male warriors to follow her out of the tent. "And Cassius," she called out over her soldier. "You better not make a habit out of questioning me.

Cassius nodded to her as everyone left the tent. She grabbed a rag, a bowl of water, and began to clean all of the blood and dirt off of her. She thought about the meeting that will be held. There was a great chance that of Clarke or Bellamy being there. Or, even worse, both of them being there at the same time. There was no way that a civil conversation can be had with her own presence being there. Maybe that's what Anya wanted in the first place. A reason to fight. Either way, Cassius had a strong feeling that by morning there would be a war.

Lincoln entered the room with clothes in his hand. "Cassius." Cassius looked to him with a blank expression. He sighed. "I assume that you were notified that your presence is required tonight."

Cassius laughed sarcastically. "And I assume that you had a role in setting this whole thing up. How'd you do it?"

Lincoln let his shoulders drop. He didn't if he should relax or keep his guard up around her. "I spoke with your friend, Finn. He's suppose to get the people on their side to agree to it."

"He's not my friend," Cassius scoffed.

"Yeah? In that case I'm guessing that Octavia isn't your friend either." Lincoln said slyly.

Cassius stopped cleaning herself and dropped her rag. She raised an eyebrow at him. "Anya says that Skaikru is the enemy. I trust my leader."

"Skaikru? They're your people, Cassius!" Lincoln argued.

"Those people tried to kill me then banished my best friend," Cassius said with no emotion. "Look around you, Lincoln. These people that you see, those are my people. Trikru are my people, alright? Blood don't lie. Skaikru ain't shit."

Lincoln scoffed at her behavior. He threw the clothes at her feet. "Put these on and gear up. Heda will call for you when it's time."

"You've been getting awfully close with those people," Cassius said with a smirk. "I hope you aren't planning on committing treason. We wouldn't want anyone to get hurt."

Lincoln tensed. "Is that a threat?" He asked.

"No," Cassius laughed smugly. "It was advice. You don't have to worry about me telling Heda. Now get out. I have to get ready."

Clarke and Finn  watched as three horses rode up to the bridge. "Oh my god," Clarke whispered in awe. "Horses." Finn looked down at her with a small smile. Cassius rode her horse next to another warrior. She wore her dark warpaint proudly on her face as she gazed upon the shocked faces of her friends. Anya let her horse guide her up to the front of her group.

"Holy shit!" Octavia exclaimed. "Is that Cassius?"

"Hey, we said no weapons." Finn said running up to Lincoln. Lincoln looked just as shocked as Finn was about the whole ordeal. "I was told there wouldn't be," he said grimly.

Cassius watched Anya and Clarke approach each other and meet at the middle of the bridge. Her eyes caught movement in the trees. She could only assume that Clarke bought back up, which wasn't all too surprising seeing as Anya had done the same. Cassius was getting closer and closer to proving herself right. Both sides were on edge and ready to attack.

Anya was the first to speak. "Your name is Clarke?"

"Yes," Clarke nodded.

        "I'm Anya."

Cassius hid a smirk as Anya rejected a handshake from Clarke. She didn't need to listen to the heated discussion between the two women to know how this would go. Anya was beyond pissed. She didn't  come here to negotiate for peace. She came here to declare war.

Jasper's yelling brought Cassius out of her thoughts. "Clarke run! Run!" Suddenly gunshots rang out into the air. The two warriors in the trees dropped like flies. Cassius' eyes widened as Anya proceeded to attempt to attack Clarke.

"Anya!" Cassius yelled out in warning.  A bullet flew past Clarke and hit Anya in the hand. Cassius slapped her horse on the side. "Yah!" She rode up to Anya, pulled her on to the horse, and jumped off with her weapon, quickly switching places. "Go, Heda! Go." As Anya took off on the horse Cassius and threw her spear. What was supposed to simply whiz right passed Octavia's head made a home in Lincoln's shoulder when he unnecessarily jumped in front of her. Both Trigeda and Skaikru retreated into the trees, leaving Lincoln and Cassius staring at each other from opposite sides of the bridge.

         "Well shit."
