(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

I was walking to school with my best friends, Pidge and Hunk, having normal convo. Then Pidge brought up a certain someone.

"So (y/n), you and Lance," she teased. I blushed.

"Pidgeeeeeeeeeeee!!! He doesn't even know I exist!" I yelled. She just smirked.

"Ladies, ladies, how about we change the topic," Hunk said.

"Good idea Hunk," I said mentally thanking him in my head. He smiled at me.

"Have you guys heard about the play the school is hosting?" Pidge asked looking around.

"The beauty and the beast one?" I asked looking at her.

"Yeah that one," she smiled at me.

"(Y/n) you should try out for Belles part," Hunk said smiling at me.

"No, I'm not fit to play her," I said looking away, suddenly shy.

"Don't say that, your probably the best in our school to play her. Plus~ Lance might try out for the Beast~" Pidge teased once again.

"Yeah come on (n/n)," Hunk said sweetly, smiling at me.

"If I do it will you leave me alone about it?" I asked.

"Yes!" They both said.

"Fine~~~" I said smiling slightly. Then we walked into school.

I walked into Drama by myself, Pidge had science and Hunk had baking. I'm alone in this class but Lance is in here, this is where my crush on him started. 'He'd never like you back, he's popular and your a nerd, it'd never work out' I thought to myself. I sat down in my seat and took out a book to read.

"Someone sitting here?" Someone asked. I looked up and saw the one and only Lance McClain.

"U-um, no," I stuttered and stuffed my face in my book to hide my blush.

Lance's P.O.V.

I smiled at (Y/n), she's a cute, shy girl. I bet she's gonna read the whole class since all we're doing is auditions for the play.

"So, what's your name?" I wanted her to think I was just meeting her, I don't really know why. (For plot reasons that's why lol)

"(Y-y/n)," she stuttered again. 'How cute' I thought.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl," I flirted and she blushed a whole lot.

"T-thanks," she said still reading.

"I think you already know but I'm Lance," I said smirking.

"Totally didn't know that," she giggled and smiled. I blushed a tiny bit.

"Alright class settle down!" The drama teacher, Mr. Coran, said and we all got quiet.

"As you may know we are going to be hosting the play Beauty and the Beast, and today we are hosting auditions," Mr. Coran said and we nodded. "Now when I call your name please come up to me and tell me what role you'd like to play, and girls please don't all go for Belle," Mr. Coran finished.

"Are you gonna try out?" I asked (Y/n). She looked at me.

"Yeah, I'm going to go for Belle, my friends wouldn't shut up til I said yes," she laughed and I stared at her.

"I might go for the Beast," I said causally. She smiled.

"I wish you luck then!" She said and hugged me, then quickly let go. "S-sorry!" Said said quickly.

"It's fine, it's always nice to get a free hug from a pretty girl," I smirked and she hit me playfully. 'This is all  I want in a relationship, but sadly we aren't dating' I thought. That's right over the years I grew a crush on (Y/n).

"(Y/n)!" Mr. Coran yelled and she went up.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

"Hello! What part are you gonna try? One of the ladies going crazy over Gaston? Or the witch who cursed the Beast?" Mr. Coran kept going.

"Um I was thinking Belle. B-but if too many girls-" I started but he cut me off.

"No, no, no, no! You'd be a perfect Belle!" He said ecstatic.

"A-alright," I said and went back to my seat.

|Time skip|Auditions|Your turn

"Alright (Y/n), please do the part where Belle and the Beast are sing 'something there'," Mr. Coran said.

"O-okay," I said shyly.

"'There's something sweet and almost kind,
But he was mean and he was coarse-" I had started but was then cut off.

"Lance! We need Lance to sing the beast' s part!," Mr. Coran yelled. Lance then walked up on stage, "ok now from the top!"

You: There's something sweet
And almost kind
But he was mean and he was coarse and unrefined
But now he's dear, and so unsure
I wonder why I didn't see it there before

Lance: She glanced this way
I thought I saw
And when we touched she didn't shudder at my paw

"BEAUTIFUL!" Mr. Coran yelled as everyone clapped. We walked off stage and Lance hugged me.

"You sing beautifully," he told me.

"T-thank you, you do as well," I stuttered out.

"You know, (y/n), I have a huge crush on you," Lance said and I turned so red tomatoes would be put to shame.

"R-really?" I asked and his confidence seemed to disappear as his face turned as red as mine.

"Yes," Lance squeaked out.

"I-I like you to!" I said and hugged him. He seemed to perk up, he pulled my face to his and we shared a sweet kiss.

~Bonus~

"OUR CHILD! SHE DID IT! I'M SO PROUD!" Pidge yelled hugging Hunk as he sobbed.

"I-I'M SO PROUD!" Hunk also yelled, still sobbing.

HEY GUYS I'M ALIVE! I AM SO SORRY I HAVEN'T POSTED IN FOREVER! I HAVE NO EXCUSE AT ALL!

For now imma try and post every Sunday, if not I'll try every two weeks. Again in super sorry I haven't posted but here I am now so, yay!
