No one's P.O.V.

There once was a girl who lived in a castle. Yes, she was a princess but something was off about her. She was far from normal. She sought adventure, something to do, she didn't want to be a princess. This being said she ran away. This girl is (Y/n) (l/n), formerly known as Princess (Y/n).

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

I kept running into people as I ran through the village with my cloak. I let out quiet 'sorry's but people still stared at me as if I was a rodent. Bet they wouldn't act like that if I was in formal clothes sigh. I finally got to the edge of the forest, yes! Just a bit further and I'll be gone for good! So long father, mother, (s/n), and (b/n)! I thought.

I ran into the forest and after a few hours of running, I found a clearing and sat on a log.  

"I really hate this dress," I mumbled quietly to myself. Then I heard a twig snap so I looked around but only saw the bright green leaves that were falling to the ground.

"Then why are you wearing it?" A male voice asked from behind me, I pulled out the dagger my brother gave me before I left. Sure he was sad I was leaving but he wasn't going to let me leave without something to defend myself with. The guy then jumped back and put his hands up. "Whoa, there lady! No need to pull out a dagger I am just passing through!" He yelped eyeing my dagger.

I sighed in relief and put the dagger away but I still had my guard up. "Okay, what's your name?" I asked looking at him. Now that I look at his features I could see he has short brown hair, fair skin, ocean blue eyes, and he is a neko/meif'wa(whichever you prefer).

"The names Lance, do you have a name or can I call you mine?" he asked with a smirk. I glare at him and gripped my dagger.

"Watch it, cat boy! My name is (Y/n)," I said and he had a frightened look on his face that turned into realization. Oh no, please don't tell me he knows...

"As in Princess (Y/n)? The one that went missing? That everyone is looking for?" he asked with a confused face. My face went pale and my throat dried and all he did was laugh. "Pfft! I was joking! Everyone knows she is still in that castle living an amazing life, why would you be her? She's probably at a special ball right now," he said and my face regained its color.

"Anyways! Do you think you could take me far away from that village?" I asked putting up my hair and ripping part of my dress to wrap around my bleeding arm, somehow I didn't notice it, he then gave me a funny look.

"Why are leaving? Everyone who lives there loves it and never, ever, leaves?" He said watching me with a hand on his hip. I stood up and looked him in the eyes.

"I'm not everyone now am I?" I said with a smirk, he gave one back a motioned me to follow him. We soon got to a store and I bought new clothes, it wasn't a dress.  Then we left for the mountains.

Btw it's been about two weeks and you and Lance have a great friendship.

We finally arrived at Dragons Nest after two weeks. It's been a good two weeks, Lance and I have a great friendship, we also picked up three people. A tank named Pidge, an archer named Allura and a healer named Hunk. Pidge and I bonded quickly. Now here we all were at Dragons Nest. Hunk was scared, Lance was to but tried to hide it, I was excited, Allura had stars in her eyes, and Pidge was just, well, Pidge. She was fascinated I think. A second after we arrived we heard a roar from above. We all look up and saw a huge dragon.
