Normal kind of. This happens before Hunk leaves.

No one's P.O.V.

One night a sleeping 6 year old was left on the side walk far away from where she lived. The person who left her was no where in sight. Then along came a big man in Orange. He looked at the little girl.

Hunks P.O.V.

As I was walking home I saw a little girl who looked about 5 or 6. She was sleeping in some old ripped up clothes. I looked around for some type of parent but found none.

"Helloooooo?" I called out to no one. No response. So I'm guessing someone just left her here. How cruel. Then the girl started to wake up.

"W-who are y-you?" She asked. It sounded as if she hadn't had water in days.

"I'm Hunk. What's your name?"

"I-it's (y/n)" she replied and winced a little.

"(Y/n). What a beautiful name. Do you have a mom or dad?" After I asked this she looked down.

"N-no, they *cough cough* h-hate me, said I-I was a m-mistake. They l-left me here. A-alone," she coughed out. What horrible people! I thought.

"H-how about you stay with me and my family?" I asked her and her eyes lit up.

"R-really?" She asked hopeful.

"Yeah. We can get you some new clothes to!" I said really happy now.

"Are y-you gonna be m-my dad??" She asked with star eyes. I hesitated. I'll ask mom how to adopt her later.

"Yeah I can be if you want,"

"Y-yay!! I have a-a dad!!" She yelled happily. I picked her up and smiled at her.

"Lets go!!" I said and we were off.

|Time skip|Two years later you are now eight and Hunk is your legal father now|

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.

"Dad!! Dad!! Guess what!!!" I yelled excited.

"What?! What?!?" He said back just as excited.

"I got straight A's!!!!" I yelled super happy. Dad picked me up and hugged me.

"That's my girl! Oh (y/n)!!" Dad said like he just remembered something.

"Yeah?!?!" I was very excited.

"I made it into the Garrison!!" He yelled spinning me.

"You did?!?!? I'm so happy for you!!!! Wait.... that means your leaving doesn't it?" I said a little sad.

"Yeah but I'll come home for the holidays. So you can count the days until we see each other again. I will to!" He hugged me and I hugged back. It'll be the first time I'm away from him since he took me in. This is going to be hard.

"When are you leaving?" I asked sadly. He looked down.

"Tonight," he said.

"W-what? Th-that's not enough time! I-I....." I started crying.

"Hey, hey it'll be okay. Remember I'll come back." Dad said hugging me tight.

"I love you dad," he stiffened. That's the first time I said I loved him.

"I love you too (y/n)."

Dad it's been a year. I'm nine and I miss you so much. You come home in four days. I can't wait to see you.
