MilesWhen I got to the nurse, she informed me that my hand is clearly broken and I would need to leave school immediately and go to a walk in or hospital to get and x-ray and such. After painfully letting her wrap my hand as best she could, I exit her office and glare at Ethan the entire walk out.
"I really don't understand why you're looking at me like you want to kill me when this is clearly not my fault." He continues to walk forward, not turning to meet my chilling gaze.
"If your giant shrek ass didn't push me, I wouldn't have this problem right now." I say pointedly, purposely trying to egg him on.
"If your annoying angry ass didn't punch the wall like a fucking maniac and then proceed to push me for no damn good reason, you wouldn't have a fucked up hand right now." He says, a smirk on his face.
"Fuck you," I say
"Right back at you," He says and I can't help but shove him again with my only good hand.
He looks at me, "Don't start again, I'll fuck up that hand too."
My mouth drops, "So you admit it's your fault!" I yell, and we both laugh, ending the argument for now.
After our laughter died down, Ethan turns to me, "What did Kelsi do this time?"
I shrug, "She said some bullshit about...someone." I trail off knowing if I said Olivia's name, he would make a huge deal about it.
"Since when do you care about anyone enough to even entertain the bullshit that comes out of Kelsi's mouth?" He questions, and I shrug again. "Unless....the person she was talking about just so happened to be the girl you are taking out tonight..." I look at him and see his annoying ass smirk is back and even more annoying than usual.
"We are done talking about this." I say once we have finally reached the main doors of the building. Ethan just laughs, the prick.
"Well, good luck driving with one hand, I'm sure you can manage." He says and I flick him off with my non injured hand before exiting the school.
The whole time I am getting my hand profesionaly casted, I can't stop thinking about tonight. It was pretty stupid of me to ask Olivia out knowing I am probably too crazy to be in a relationship at the moment. I don't know what drove me to blurt that out like some dumb idiot. Also, how am I supposed to explain how in class my hand was perfectly working and capable and now just looking at it hurts. Oh who am I kidding, I'm sure she's heard what's happened already.
"You're all set hun," The nice doctor lady says to me. When I am heading for the door she continues talking, "Try not to get it wet and use the hand as little as possible," She warns me and I nod before thanking her and walking out.
I schedule my next appointment at the desk and finally leave the wretched smelling place.

Olivia
When Miles leaves the classroom, I can't help but smile brightly as I watch him awkwardly walk out. I cannot believe he just asked me out. Kelsi shoves past me to get out of the door first and I roll my eyes harder than ever before, "It's called excuse me," I mutter.
Whatever, I am not letting anything ruin my mood for today. By the time I finally leave the classroom, there is loud commotion going on down the hallway. Guess I'm taking another way to class.
"Hey," I say to Elise when I make it to my Fine Arts class a little after the bell. She nods at me and warmly smiles, "What are we doing today?" I ask her, noticing that the class is unusually quiet today.
