-Bring your jacket with you, it seems it will wind up later.

-Really? Ok, you never know.

-You have the shirt's collar out of place, I'll fix it. You're such a mess, gé.

-Look who's talking. Don't make troubles, 'key.

-I'll try.

Ye Zun could be indeed an overgrown child, but he didn't behave like that just for the sake of doing it. Yes, he never payed too much attention to responsibilities - actually, he had never taken it - he tried to do anything as less as possible; he liked to live without limits, because, let's say it, it's fun! But this and more always started from the same point: Shen Wei. Ye Zun seemed good for nothing in the eyes of many and his opinion exchanges that ended badly have never lacked in his life, but he couldn't care less about the others, he only cared about being seen as good just from his twin. Ye Zun was different everytime he was with Wei. In his own way, Ye Zun took care of his brother as best as he could, with little things: he would drop to say "hello" early in the morning every day, if only he had the strength to not turn over to the sound of the alarm most of the time; he wanted to greet Wei and wish him a good day; he wanted to make Wei coffee, or a whole breakfast; he would fix Wei's tie, or his shirt collar; he would give Wei a massage when Wei would retur home, or whenever Ye Zun would see Wei needed it... There were not a few things Ye Zun was trying to do for his brother, but unfortunately, they seemed to pass completely unnoticed. Yes, Wei ruffled Ye Zun's hair from time to time, he lent him money to buy whatever Ye Zun wanted and without asking it back; Wei would prepare Ye Zun lunch or dinner when Yunlan wasn't home; he would clean Ye Zun's apartment on the evenings when he took the drunk Ye Zun home and put him to bed... Ye Zun was happy for all of those little things, but he had the feeling they were done more by the fact that Wei was the responsible one, rather than for pure and simple desire to take care of his little brother. Ye Zun didn't always have the feeling that Wei noticed his concern, but he was content.

There was only one problem...

-Wei Wei, you here yet? I forgot Da Qing's lunch. Oh, you're indeed here. And there you are too: what are you doing here at this time?

-I came to greet my brother. Good morning,

Zhao.

-Lovely as usual, I see. Good morning, Little Bro. Wei Wei, the stuff for the fur ball is...?

-Always there, in the box under the window.

While Yunlan went to get Da Qing's food, Wei glanced at his brother, as if to say "don't be hostile", and then look towards Yunlan. After all, not only his brother was incorrigible, but his partner wasn't better as well. The two almost resembled each other: Wei always had to run after them, so that they wouldn't do more damage than necessary; both of them were likely to forget things and well...they didn't have a particular affinity. Luckily, our professor was there, otherwise the other two were able to forget even their head. Wei smiled amused, as he advanced to help Yunlan, who had just slammed the aforementioned head against the windowsill. Ye Zun watched the scene from aside, arms folded and a look in the eyes like the one Wei had every time he was annoyed with Yunlan.

-Are you hurt?

-Wei Wei, call the ambulance.

-Oh, please.

What was that? The douche just slammed his big head and complained like a stupid five-year-old boy, but the laid-back professor was smiling like an idiot. Come again? Why for God's sake?! What happened to the serious big brother, who was able to shoot him or that douche even if they just put an ornament out of place?

-How can you bump your head there every single time? Here, take it.

-Thanks. I have to change place to this damn box!

-It's fine where it is.

Ye Zun miraculously got up early to make coffee for Wei for him to start the day well and Wei didn't even finish it - he put it on the table and it was still there - but Yunlan came with one of his stupid requests and was making Wei late to university because of completely useless things, and Wei seemed totally fine. Disgusting. Pathetic. Someone had said: "When brothers get along, no fortress is as strong as their life together."  Ye Zun wanted that fortress. He had to do something, otherwise that rude and ignorant detective would ruin the educated and kind professor, his brother. Bullshit! Ye Zun just wanted to get Wei's attention. They were brothers. Wasn't brotherly love the most fundamental form of love? Why did Wei keep ignoring everything Ye Zun was doing for him? Who cares about that damn fat cat! Skipping lunch for once would not kill him! Who cares if mango head had crashed against the windowsill! There were no danger it would lose gray matter! Better stop that scene that was making him sick to his stomach.

-Gé, hurry up, or you'll be late!

-Right! Say hi to the SID guys for me. Ye Zun, be good.

-Have a good day.

Wei preceded Yunlan with a wave of his hand, while Yunlan stopped to give Ye Zun a wink in greeting. Do you want a punch in the face?  Ye Zun grimaced. When the door closed behind them, Ye Zun stared at it for a while. Silence. Silence doesn't ask questions, but could give us an answer, right? "Silence is a source of great strength."  Ye Zun wanted that strength, in order to be able to solve the problem that was gripping him. He didn't know why, but the blood was boiling inside him. Seeing Wei so carefree with an imbecile like Yunlan was making Ye Zun irritable. He couldn't help but think about it. He had to think something up. There was no more reason for him to stay there. Once he was back at his own apartment, the only thing he could do was to keep going back and forth in the living room.

Think, Ye Zun! It can't be so hard to get rid of someone like him.
