Chapter 16

Troy's POV

"We need to talk!" I said. as Sky jumped in the car and slammed the door behind her.

"About what?" she asked, nervously looking up at me after she had buckled herself in.

"About Blake." I said sternly.

"Troy I swear nothing happened between us, I promise you."

Sky started to freak out I started talking to explain things and try to calm her down. She kept talking without taking any breaths between her words. Making it sound like a run on sentence.

"We just kissed!" She said, freaking out even more.

"Sky listen to me." I said, trying to stop her babbling but she kept going.

"There was nothing more then that Troy honestly!" she kept babbling on and on.

I was starting to get frustrated. "Skyler James Bliss! will you just listen to me? I am not mad at you!" I spoke.

The car was filled with silence.

"Sorry." Sky said, sitting quietly with her hands in her lap.

I ignored her apology and continued talking. "Like I was saying Blake talked me last night after you had gone to bed and he told me about the kiss and how he really likes you." I smiled.

Sky's mouth dropped open. "He what?"

"He also already asked for mine and mom and dad's approval to date you." I said.

"When did this happen?" Sky asked mortified.

"Last night, after mom and dad came home." I said simply.

"Wha- what did you guys say?" She stuttered.

  "Well..... You see Sky we.... We had to say......."

"oh, it's okay." She said, starting to get upset.

"We said yes!" I shouted with a big smile.

"What?" Sky asked in disbelief.

"We said yes Sky!" I said happily.

"Seriously?" she asked in wonderstruck.

My head bobbled back and forth.

Sky screamed in excitement and hugged me. I could see tears of joy in her eyes.

"Thank you!" Sky whispered.

I held her tightly in my arms. We let go of each other after awhile. After we settled in our seats I buckled up and drove off.

When we arrived at home Sky and I walked to the front door. On the door was a piece of paper with a note written on it. I grabbed the post-note and read what it said out loud.

"Sky, I talked to your parents and they said I could take you out tonight. So I'll be picking you up at 8 tonight. See you soon!
Love, Blake"

Sky shrieked with joy and I smiled at her. When I unlocked the front door she bolted to her room. I shook my head in amusement, at the sight of my sister.

"I just hope he never hurts her." I thought to myself, as I walked through the door.
