Chapter 1: Not Found on the Isle

Hayden's POV

"What can I do for you lovely girl?" Dr. Facilier says slithering to a chair in front of a crystal ball. "I have heard rumors that you are still practicing even while under the magic barrier." Facilier tips his hat to me. "It relaxes me from time to time, why is that any interest of yours my dear?" I walk over sitting down across from him. "Because I need a certain serum from your spell book." Facilier leans back in his chair with a huge smile on his face. "Which serum might you be looking? It must be an important one for you to come seeking me out." I stare deep into the eyes of the one of the most feared villains on the Isle. "I need the serum that can separate personification." Facilier looks at me with curious eyes and he leans closer to me. "There is only one serum that can do what you want, and that would be the doppelganger serum. But why do you need this, unless you are not who you seem to be." I smile at him flipping my hair over my shoulder. "Let's just way that there is more to me than meets the eye." Facilier stands up from his chair and walks over to a bookshelf filled with books. "What you ask for will not come cheap my dear, for all magic even magic like this come with a price, and unless you are willing to pay it there is nothing more I can do for you." Facilier pulls an old looking book from the shelf and slowly walks back over to me. "Name your price voodoo man, I will gladly pay it, for my freedom is priceless." Facilier puts the book on the table. "Freedom from what?" Facilier puts his hand on the book. "You better start explaining yourself if you want my help." I groan in anger knocking the crystal ball onto the floor. "If you really must know my name is Hayden, I am what is considered to be an alter ego of Heidi, and I need your serum to put us both into our own bodies." Facilier nods his head slowly listing to me. "Pleasure to meet you Hayden, I can see that you are not like Heidi, you represent the part of her that she tries to hide and bury." I just fake smile trying to move this conversation along as fast as I can. "Can you help me or not?" Facilier opens the book in front and starts flipping through pages. "I can do what you ask, but first you must know that with Heidi and you now as one it will change the very core of who you are, for Heidi represents the light as you represent the dark, and without that balance you are dooming each other." I scoff at him getting annoyed with him. "Look witch doctor, I can't stand sharing this body with a weak-minded person like Heidi for another moment. Heidi has gone from being a villain that was feared to someone that just wants a happy ending, and that is why I permanent solution." Facilier nods his head at me as he stops on a page. "Here we are, the doppelganger serum." He looks down at the pages in front of him reading. "This serum will be easy to make, but getting what is needed will be a more difficult task, for this serum need certain ingredients that cannot be found on the Isle of the lost." I snarl at him knowing that he is telling that if I want this serum I will have to go back to Auradon to get what is needed to make it. "How do you know for sure that I can't find what is needed here on the isle?" Facilier d pushes the book to me letting me read it. "You need hair of a princess, dust of a pixie, blood of a unicorn, and a drop of nightshade." I start reading the pages in front of me now understanding why Auradon is the best place for this. "Get me these things and you will have your serum along with your freedom." I nod my head ripping the page out of the book. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" Facilier yells shooting up from his chair throwing the table across the room, and I just smile folding the paper and put in my pocket. "I don't think you will be needing that anymore." Facilier grabs me by my throat and lifts me into the air. "No one steals from me and gets away with it." I kick Facilier in his chest as he stumbles backwards dropping me onto the floor of his shop. "I am not stealing from you, I will get what I want which is the serum, and you will get what you want which is power." I fix myself before opening the door to his shop. "I will be seeing you soon shadow man." I wink at him but like a flash I find myself surrounded in darkness.

Heidi's POV

I open my eyes to find myself in front of Dr. Facilier's shop, and this makes me start wondering why my other half would seek a retired man who does voodoo, but then I start thinking of what mark told me not so long ago, and I decide that since I have no idea on how long I will remain in control this time, I need to start looking for the one man that can further explain what is going on with me. I slowly make my way into the shop only to get a very angry Dr. Facilier standing over me with a dangerous look in his eyes. "WHAT DO YOU WANT NOW!" he yells as some of the items shake a little bit. "Dr. Facilier, I was wondering if you knew of a man on this Isle by the name of Mr. Hyde?" Facilier smiles at me and slowly leans forward. "I am assuming that I am talking to Heidi now?" I nod my head and he bows to me. "To be in the presence of the daughter of death is an honor indeed." I just stand there awkwardly as he straightens himself back out. "I think we are going to have a nice little chat."
