Hayden's POV

I finally arrive to the museum after take a shortcut just making sure that I wouldn't be noticed or stopped, especially when Alyssa wakes up from being under one of my spell or Ben waking up figuring out what happened in that dorm room. As I up the stone steps and into the entrance of the place I see that someone is sitting on the steps waiting for me. "I was wondering when you would arrive, as a matter of fact I was starting to think that you were never going to show up." The boy whose brown hair is parted to one side of his head, he is wearing an opened blue dress jacket, a tucked in white dress shirt, blue dress pants, and blue dress shoes. "Who are you supposed to be?" I ask giving him major attitude and crossing my arms over my chest. "And that right there tells me that you are not Heidi but you are indeed Hayden." The guy stands up brushing his clothes off before walking up to me and taking my hand placing a small kiss on it. "Pleasure to meet the girl that will play a huge part in War of Wars." I pull my hand away from the unknown creepy stranger. "What are you talking about? What is the War of Wars?" I ask very confused on everything that is coming out his mouth, and then again for a strange reason I can't help but think that I know him. "I am Mark, my father is Merlin." I roll my eyes mentally slapping myself because I just had to run into the son of the man who was able to defect The Chernabog. "Well it was nice meeting you, but I have somewhere to be, and that certainly isn't Auradon." I push him past him and start heading up the stairs, but I see Mark is now waiting for at the top of the staircase. "You are headed to the Isle of the doomed, and there you will enter devilwood forest in search of night shade." I walk past him not saying to one word to him as I head forth wing of the museum, and of course in the entryway is Mark. "Why are you following me?" Mark smiles a dazzling smile at me before letting out a light laugh. "I am here to give you a warning about the forest that you will enter." I look at him not believing what he is saying. "You expect me to believe that? You are a hero, and last time I looked the hero doesn't help the villain." Mark nods his head slightly. "That is true, but a hero will help another hero who is in desperate need of help, and when Heidi and you are finally separated then and only then can the two of you finally fulfill what has been destined for the two of you to be this whole time." I look him up and down sizing him up, but I know my magic would be useless on him. "Talk wizard boy." Mark steps to the side letting me in. "I will walk with you." Hayden walk into the wing as Mark follows me. "Devilwood forest is embedded with very dark magic, and once you set foot inside it will pry on you in anyway it can." I just nod my head walking into the hallway leading to the museum of villainy. "How do I get the night shade?" Mark smiles at me which kind of makes me worried. "You are going to need to clear your mind of any thoughts besides the night shade, if you don't then the forest will use your own mind against you." This makes me stop in my tracks as I turn around facing him. "That doesn't tell me how to get it." Mark waves his hand sealing the hallway from both ends trapping the two of us inside. "Devilwood forest loves to play on your worst fears, and you have many fears, some that not even you know about." I am starting to figure out what Mark is telling me. "Got it, clear my mind and don't let the dark scary trees get into my head." Mark waves his hand again unsealing the hallway as the two of us start walking again. "You will run into someone that I very close to while on the Isle of the doomed, and if I were you I would not try to anger this girl." We enter the part that is dedicated to my father as I walk over and take the blood diamond off Cerberus. "Thanks buddy." I kiss each head before turning back to Mark. "I am not a complete bitch like people think." I say shoving Mark out of my way as I walk into the room dedicated to the wicked witch of the west. "I know that Hayden, you are not completely lost yet, but I am afraid that what I see in your future is nothing but darkness and evil." I smile at him liking what I am hearing. "That sounds like the perfect life." I say opening the hatch leading to the tunnels and pull out the map from my bag. "What else do you see in my future?" I ask very curious now. Mark takes my hand looking deep into my eyes. "I see that you will face off with Heidi and others sooner than you think, I see you and the man of the sea will fall in love with each other and have an evil life as one, I see that you will give birth to a boy that will become more powerful than The Chernabog himself, and I see that when the War of Wars finally comes to pass that you be on the side of the first woman of the world." A million questions start swimming around my brain as Mark tells my future, and I am not sure why but I trust in what he is telling me. "Thanks Mark." Mark nods his head stepping away from me. "You are welcome Hayden, but I am sure that you know I didn't do it for yo, but I did this for Heidi." I let out am evil laugh nodding my head. "I knew that the second you started talking." I jump down the hatch before closing it and locking it. "Alright, let's see which way is the Isle of the doomed." I look down at the map and start following the pathway that will lead me somewhere on the isle of the doomed. It feels like it takes forever but I finally reach the end of a corridor and see a large metal door, I turn the handle and push the door open walking into some kind of dark room that looks like a great room. There is a large table with some kind of magical map on it that shows every inch of every kingdom, broken things everywhere, a very large bookcase with many old looking books, I look around to see all the glass windows all have been shattered, and I notice that Mark was right, I am in Chris's castle that he lives in before being trapped on the Isle of the lost, out of the blue I hear a noise letting me know that I am not the only one in this castle, and I start thinking of the traveler that Mark warned me about.
