Hayden's POV

"First off I have to say that Arendelle doesn't seem to agree with Hadie very much, but I think that has more do with him being all fiery and Arendelle being a place of snow and ice." I grin a fake grin nodding my head. "I always knew that my brother would find someone to help him control his hotheaded temper, and it turns out that person literally cools him down." I laugh which makes Ella starts laughing as well. "Anyways, tell me how your parents Elsa and Jack reacted to you bring someone one like my brother home, and more importantly how did they react to the fact that he is your boyfriend." I say scooting closer to her pretending as best I could that I actually cared. "They already kind of knew about Hadie before we got there because I told them all about him when they would call, which is once a week." I nod my head urging her to keep going. "I told them everything I knew, but I did keep one very important thing to myself." A look of guilt flashes across her face. "You didn't tell them that he was from the Isle?" I say rather impressed that little my innocent lied to her parents. "I just thought that they should meet him before casting their judgment on him from being from that Isle and judging him extremely for who his family is." I can't say that I blame her for that, the people of Auradon has a tendency to look down on us from the isle without getting to know us first. "How did they take the news?" Ella sighs running her finger along the picture in the book. "My dad started out like any dad would when they meet their daughter's boyfriend, but he saw how Hadie treated me, and after a couple of weeks of my dad being hard on him he started to like Hadie more." I smile at her seeing the love that she had for Hadie, it made me want to throw up. "How about your mom? She couldn't have been very happy with her daughter being with someone from the Isle." This makes Ella's whole body tense up and does a completely 360 with her mood. "My mom was the complete opposite of my dad, she couldn't believe that I would get involved with someone that is associated with the likes of Prince Hans and Duke of Weselton." I place my hand on hers acting like I care that her poor fragile feelings got hurt by someone that should understand more than anyone what it feels like to be an outcast. "I tried to tell her that Hadie wasn't like any of them, and the more I defended Hadie the more my mom got angrier with me." I feel a tear from Ella's eye fall and land on my hand. "You listen to me." I say place my hand under her chin and tilting it up so she is looking into my eyes. "You and my brother belong together, you two balance each other out in every way possible, and if anyone doesn't see the love that you two share, then maybe they aren't worth your time, parent or not." I say smiling at her. Ella nods her head as she wipes her eyes. "Do they know about the baby?" Ella lets out a soft laugh before shaking her head. "I am not going to tell him, if my mom acted that way with him just being my boyfriend, she would end up setting off another eternal winter again if she found this out." Ella gets off the bed and walks over to her dresser, and I see a hairbrush lying next to a stunning jewelry box. "It was not so long ago that I was where you are now Ella, and if there is one thing I could change it would be that my mom wasn't there to help me through it." I stand up walking over to her giving her a nauseating side hug. "You can't go through this alone, and if Hadie is anything like Harry then he is dealing with it in his own way." Ella smiles at her returning the hug. "I really have missed having my best friend around to have these talks with." I roll my eyes that feeling in my stomach returning, but I push through it. "That is what friends are for, to help you through the stuff that you don't think you can make it though." Ella lets out a deep breath before looking at the large clock on her wall. "OH MY!" Ella squeaks loudly as she rushes from my side and to her closet. "What's wrong?" I ask turning my body to face her as I carefully pick up the brush off the dresser. "We are going to be late." Ella says as she quickly starts going through her clothes. I turn around taking a strain of her hair off the brush. "Prefect." I say to myself softly before grabbing a tiny skinny vile from my bag and place the hair inside it. "What did you say?" Ella asks causing me to turn back around. "I asked you, what are we going to be late for?" Ella finishes putting on a whole new outfit. "The 5 new students are going to be arriving any second now, and I promised Ben that I would be there to help welcome them to Auradon." Ella rushes over to me grabbing my hand and pulling me towards the door. "Why are more students coming? Doesn't this preppy school have enough goodie goodies already?" I ask as the two of us step into the hallway and start heading down the long corridor. "You love welcoming new people, and that is why you are going to be there, it will help you get back to the life that Hayden stole from you." Hearing those words leaves a venomous taste in my mouth as Ella leads me to the front of the school.
