Chapter 26 ~ Family

Cal ~

We wait in the arrivals area of the airport for my family who's flight has just landed at Heathrow. I look at Alee and smile "you ready to meet my family again?" I ask. She nods "yeah" and smiles back at me. I take her hand in mine and close my hand gently around hers.

A crowd of people start to file out of the baggage claim area. I scan through the mass of busy people looking for my family. I spot my Mom and Malikoa, my sister and then notice my dad behind them. I give them a wave and smile as they notice me and walk over. My dad shakes my hand firmly "alright Dad, good flight?", he shrugs "it was okay" he smiles.

Mali pulls Alee into a hug and my Mom hugs me in one of those over protective, bone crushing, Mom hugs. You know those hugs that you feel like you can't physically breath. Yep, one of those. I force out a fake choke and she let's go of me but still gives me that really too big smile to be a natural smile. I take Mali'a bag off her "okay let's go" I smile.

We all walk out the airport and towards Alee's car. We brought Alee's car because my car is only a two seater but her's fits five so we're good and plus it has more boot space for the bags. I load everyone's bags into the boot and close it before getting in the passenger seat beside her. My family get in the back.

We drive back to our London apartment...

When we arrive I help my dad unload the bags and show my parents and Mali to the spare rooms. Well actually there's only one spare room so Mali will be on a air bed on the floor of my parent's room. She'll have to deal with it.

We all sit down on the couches later on and talk about random stuff "so how are all the guys?" Mali asks. She's always had a bit of a crush on Ash, she'll kill me for telling you that!

"They're good. We kicked Luke out the band..."

I was quite well prepared for the punch Mali landed on my arm then. In fact it didn't hurt, I just laughed. "WHY?" she screamed at me. "Now that's a long story" I sighed and then went in to telling them all about what Luke did to me and Alee and how this was for the best. We also told my parents and Mali about the pregnancy. My Mom freaked out about being a granny at her age but my Dad calmed her down. Mali was literally begging to see the scan picture so I got it out and handed it to her. That shut her up.
