Chapter 15 ~ The phonecall

Luke ~

I dial Cal's number and hold my phone to my ear waiting for him to answer, he picks up;

"Hey mate, you okay?" he asks.

"Yeah, good mate. You?" I reply cooly. I look around the room for a second "I wanted to talk to you about something" I smirked to myself.

"Yeah? What about?" Calum questioned calmly.

"Your stag! I was thinking we could go out for a pre-stag pint at this bar I know, get warmed up for the night out" I asked.

"What just you and me?" he asks.

"Uh huh, just you and me bro"

"Sounds fun. I'll be up for that" Cal answers.

I grin. My plan is working "great, it'll be good. Okay see you soon mate, take care"

"See you"

I hang up and smirk to myself, everything is falling into place just as I want it to, I'll have Alee to myself in no time at all.

Calum ~

I was on the couch with Alee when I got Luke's call. The look on her face at the caller ID on my phone screen was anxious for some strange reason. Maybe the boys has something big planned for me and told her but wasn't allowed to tell me.

I answered it and we talked for a while. It turned out he wanted to meet for drinks just me and him before my stag do in just over a month. I was up for that, should be fun!

Alee ~

When I saw the caller ID on Cal's phone I literally froze. When Cal came off the phone and told me he was going for pre-stag drinks with just Luke I couldn't help feeling something wasn't right about it. Why would the guy who wants me so badly go for a friendly drink on his own with my fiancé before his stag? It didn't make sense at all and I was worried for Calum. What else could Luke do? I hated the thoughts that entered my head.

Cal was looking at me concerned "what's wrong?" he asked.

I shook my head "nothing just tired, been a hectic day with meeting Keeleigh and everything y'know" I smile, I can't let him suspect anything. He frowned "do you want to go to bed?" he asks softly. I lean into him and rest my head on his lap "I don't need bed when I have a Calum.."
