Epilogue

Alee ~

We had gathered everyone around at ours since we're leaving tomorrow. When I say everyone I mean Ash, Mikey and Keeleigh. We were all on the sofa's holding cups of tea or coffee, juice in my case.

We had been chatting for a good while then I glanced at Cal and I knew he wanted to announce our news to them. I nod and sigh, a frown touches my mouth for a second before disappearing. Cal takes my hand in his and gently rubs his thumb over my hand, I smile at him.

Cal ~

I can see it's hard for Alee what we're about to do and it kills me to see her sad. At the same time we're both excited and see this as a fresh start, for both of us!

I turn to the guys and Keeleigh "we did call you here for a reason..." I say seriously as I glance at Alee and smile at her. Alee leans closer to me, I'm not sure whether it's for comfort or just to give her the strength to tell them. She sniffs as she tries to hold back the tears I can see threatening to break out...

"We're moving... to Sydney!" she announces as the first tear finally escapes silently.

I wrap my arm around her waist pulling her closer to me and kiss the side of her head keeping my lips near her ear. I whisper something soothing to her softly and kiss her cheek "you okay?" I smile. She nods and wipes a tear away.

The reaction from the guys is mixed, of course they'll miss us but they can visit! Plus it's Sydney so they'll come out there sometimes to see their families. We won't really be gone at all!

Alee ~

The next day at the airport I must've been through about a million Ash and Mikey hugs already. Currently being suffocated by Keeleigh while Cal said bye to the guys. Cal had phoned his parents a few days ago and delivered the news to them, so they're ready for us to stay with them until we get our own house.

Keeleigh and me were crying on each other and telling each other how much we'd miss the other. "You better come out to visit" I sniff. She smiles "I'll be there every week if Mikey will let me" she laughs. I smile and laugh too "I'll miss you Kee".

Cal comes up to Kee and me, gives Keeleigh a hug, turns and wraps his arm around my waist "ready?" he asks softly. I nod "let's do this, before I change my mind" I laugh. He smirks "you'll love it in Sydney" he smiles and kisses me. I kiss him back "I'm sure I will" I smile.

We go through security and into departures. It's then about a 2 hour wait until we board the plane. Eventually we get on the plane.

I stare out the plane window as it takes off. Cal is holding my hand in his, our fingers linked together. I look at him then back out the window "this is it, we're leaving for good. No going back" I smile. He nods and smiles back.

"We're gonna be alright. No more troubles. We're getting out of there"

Cal's words played over and over in my head as the plane climbed up and up into the sky...
