Mrs. Porter's POV:

"Yes?" Someone knocked on my office door. Georgia peeked in and I welcomed her.

"Hey." She said silently.

"Hey. Something wrong?" Her attitude intrigued me.

"I wanted to talk to you about something. I've decide to leave this job." What the hell? Is everyone leaving now?

"What? Why?" This can't be happening.

"I'm stuck in the middle of all the drama that's been happening between you and Nicole. I just don't want to pick sides. We are all friends and I want it to stay that way."

"That's bullshit, and you know it." I really couldn't rest my mind on the fact that she was leaving me.

"Come on, Diane. Just admit that it's been weird ever since she left."

"Yes, she left! She left me, she left the kids, she left you! She doesn't even want to listen to me. All I wanted was somebody to embrace me in that moment. That someone was Nicole. Tina used that moment, and now I'm taking in the consequences." I broke, the tears wetting my cheeks.

"I'm so sorry. I know it's hard." Georgia got closer and hugged me.

"She's divorcing me. All I wanted was for her to listen. Just... listen."

After a while when I finally calmed down, Georgia explained what's happening next.

"Your new assistant will be arriving tomorrow morning."

"Manager." She smiled after me admitting that she was more than just an assistant. But she knew that.

"Anyway, I will be on my way now. I guess I'll see you around." Georgia awkwardly paced in one place, not being sure what to do now.

"You sure I can't make you stay?" She shook her head. "Then I'll see you around." I spread my hands and took her in for a long, emotional hug.

Georgia sniffed and I knew it was time to break it off before one of us starts the waterworks again.

"Bye, Diane."

"Goodbye, Georgia. I love you." She smiled and walked out.
