Nicole's POV:

The look on her face when I gave her the picture was everything. Ethan and Audrey's unconditional love towards the two of us was everything. Christmas with my family is everything.

"Well, sweetheart... I also have a present." Diane got up from the floor to go over and grab something behind her. "We talked about this, so please don't freak out when you see it." Okay, this present was scaring me for sure.

She put the tiny purple box in front of me and I opened it. My mouth hung open as I looked at the inside of the box.

A pregnancy test. A positive pregnancy test.

"Is this for real?" Diane quickly shook her head 'yes' and I jumped from my seat right over to her and picked her up.

The twins got over to us and started bombing us with questions. "What, Mommies? What is this?"

I put Diane down and knelt in front of my five year old son. "You two are going to have one more sibling."

"Well..." Diane commented behind me and I turned quickly towards her.

"What?"

"It's not sure, but they think the egg has started splitting. So..."

"Twins again?" Four fucking children. I know we talked about having more kids, but one more is enough, not a hundred.

"Maybe." She grinned like crazy and all I wanted to do was kiss her all over her face, but instead I just planted one soft, tender kiss on her forehead, showing how much I love her.

I could hear the twins bicker about something behind us and of course it was about the toys they got, so the euphoria about getting more brothers or sisters was long past them. Now it was my moment to talk to Diane.

"So, how long?"

"Four weeks."

"What? You've managed to hide this from me for four weeks?" I just kept thinking about how she hasn't started showing yet, how is that even possible.

"Okay, it's time for breakfast!" Diane pulled from our conversation and made her way to the kitchen.

"Oh, you better run." I yelled behind her but then ran towards her and slapped her ass. The kids were already in the kitchen so they couldn't see or hear us now.

"Keep it in your pants Wallace, we need to have breakfast first."

"You did not just start this."

Diane turned and winked at me. "Oh, I think I did."
