Zahra's PoV:
The alarm started buzzing violently, stirring me abruptly from my slumber to wake up for Fajr (Before sunrise) prayers. I glanced at Ali as my eyes were slowly opening and saw that he was still sleeping soundly, faint snores escaping from his nostrils and his hair was so messy that it was covering half of his forehead.

"Ali Jaanum, please wake up, honey it's time for prayer." He gently opened his eyes and kissed the top of my head softly. "Good morning, Azizam." He replied a little groggily.

Ali's PoV:
I slowly opened my eyes to the voice of my angel, awakening me from my deep slumber. Her eyes gazed into mine and her smile blew me away. Every morning I get to wake up to the sight of her laying beside me, with my arms embracing her. If this is married life, I could get used to seeing that face every morning for as long as I live and breathe.

I also can't believe that we did what we were able to do with each other last night. It took my breath away to think about last night and how much I wanted to do that only with her. After last night, though she was modest, I could tell she was even more comfortable with me, not scared or nervous like before.

"Morning, how are you, my hubby?" She said as I smiled softly and whispered "sweetheart, I'm good but I'd be better with a morning kiss." I smirked mischievously, causing her to blush though I swear I saw a smile creep up on her lips too.

Zahra's PoV:
I love how affectionate Ali is but we are gonna get late for our morning prayers. "Nope get up and pray first. Then you might be able to steal a kiss from me." I said, trying to sound stern but failed and laughed softly. Ali began laughing so hard too, as I sat up in bed and he got up and off the bed. "Ok, my love, look I'm up and if I'm up, then you are getting up with me, wifey. No excuses." He replied, hastily picking me up off the bed in his arms, unexpectedly carrying me bridal style and walking around the room. He laughed at my expression of surprise, causing laughter to spill from my own lips.

Ali's PoV:
Oh my Lord, my bride is definitely a teaser. This time, I decided to have some fun with her, picking her up in my strong arms after she refused to give me my good morning kiss. It was absolutely hilarious.

"Baby, where are you taking me?" She giggled softly as she tried to move in my arms. "Well, Eshgham I don't know yet. I haven't decided. But I'll put you down if and only if I get a kiss from you." I chuckled.

Zahra's PoV:
"Ok." I replied as I gave him a kiss on his cheek, which he was not expecting. He whispered throatily in my ear "Eshgham that's not exactly what I meant but I will definitely be kissing those beautiful lips later." I smiled thankfully, turning bright red as he put me down in my wheelchair.

"My darling wife, it is so adorable how you still blush bright red when you receive my affection." He chuckled, his eyes not breaking eye contact, whilst I felt so shy and averted my gaze away from his smouldering eyes as a small smile etched into my features. "Well, my dear husband, any young woman would blush with the way that you flirt." His smile fell so suddenly, his eyes so serious, intensely staring at me as his face came closer to mine to the point that I could feel his warm breath caressing my face and blowing a gentle breeze in my hair before he whispered. "Should I stop flirting with you, sweetheart?" His fingers touched my cheeks delicately and I laughed before answering. "Yes you need to stop because we're going to be late for prayer." He chuckled softly and groaned a little in jest. "Aye Khuda!"

We got dressed, did our Wudhu ( spiritual ablutions) and prayed Fajr, the morning prayers together, thanking God for each breath and beautiful moment that we shared together.

Afterwards, I decided to wear a beautiful simple white abaya, carefully pairing it with a golden brown hijab.
