Levy P.O.V

With the boys now in appropriate clothes, Gajeel and I headed towards the library. I had to admit, he was pretty freaking adorable in his khaki shorts and army green tank top. He was grumbling angrily while he stomped beside me. "You know if you don't quit it people will think your throwing a tantrum." I couldn't help but say. He glared at me and, instead of it looking menacing, it just added to the cuteness. I giggled and ruffled his hair, just like he does to me all the time.

He growled and swatted my hand away, smoothing his hair back out. He pouted, actually pouted, when he felt his hair stop at the back of his neck. I smiled a little as we reached the library. "Don't worry, I will fix this."I said and he nodded a little, still pouting. We walked in and the librarian greeted us. "Welcome back Levy! My what a cutie you have with you!" she said, making Gajeel grumble some more. I smacked the back of his head, mostly because I can now but also so he would stop being rude. "Yeah, cute and grumpy. I need a book on breaking spells." she smiled and pointed to the back of the library.

I went to where she pointed and started flipping through books with my gale force glasses. Gajeel sat beside me, angrily drumming his fingers on the table. I ignored it for the most part but eventually I slapped my hand on his, making him jump. " Either sit quiet or go find Natsu and Lucy."I said quietly. "Tch." He muttered but sat back, crossing his arms. After two more hours I sighed, laying the book in my hands on the table and rubbing my face. " I can't find anyway of breaking it. Just the facts about the spell, obviously it changes the mage, it can even bring about old childhood fears. A bit ridiculous if you ask me." I muttered. I realized it was oddly quiet, so I turned to look at Gajeel to find him fast asleep with his head on the table. I smiled softly and began putting books away. When I came back I carefully picked him up, carrying him like the child he was. He stirred a little only to wrap his arms around my neck. I felt my face burn but I shook it off, telling myself to think of it as just a kid.

I walked out of the library and i heard the sky rumble slightly. I looked to the cloudy sky and sighed. I hurried back to my apartment in Fairy Hills, I'm sure Erza won't mind considering circumstances. Gajeel woke up half way there and I giggled at his red face as he demanded to be put down. I set him on his feet and we ran for Fairy Hills as it began to rain. We made it back drenched, so i dug around in my dresser for something dry for him.

"Here." I handed him one of the over sized shirts I liked to sleep in while getting one and some shorts out for me. I got out a blanket and a pillow for him as he curled up on the couch. I almost busted into laughter as he jumped at the sound of thunder. "You uh, you gonna be ok?" I bit back my laugh as he jumped again. He scowled as he snatched the pillow and blanket. " Tch. I'm fine shrimp." I smiled and pat his head, making him scowl more. "If you need me, come get me ok?" He grunted as he curled up with the blanket.

I went into my room and curled up in my comforter. The thunder continued to roar outside and I wondered if Gajeel was alright. A particularly large crash of thunder was followed by a thud from the living room and a scurrying sound. I sat up to see Gajeel shaking slightly in my door way. He cleared his throat and crossed his arms, trying to stop the shakes. " Uh um... You ok shrimp?" He tried to make his voice deeper and I bit my lip to try and stop the laugh. " I'm good Gajeel. You?" I said with a wry smile. He nodded a little only to jump with another crash of thunder. " Would you like to sleep in here?" I asked , pulling the comforter aside and making room.

He grumbled, but with another loud crash he hurried to the bed and curled up. " If you insist pipsqueek..." He grumbled, face red. I giggled as I pulled the blanket over us and snuggled in. I could feel Gajeel shaking slightly, and I didn't really think as I wrapped an arm around his small form and pulled him to me. He grumbled something and I just giggled as I drifted off to sleep.
