Mira P.O.V
The guild was loud as always and I couldn't help but smile as I cleaned a beer mug. Natsu and Gray were fighting, Erza eating her cake happily and Lucy discussing books with Levy. My eyes wandered to the other end of the bar where a certain blonde dragon slayer sat with his nose deep in a bottle. His face was slightly flushed as he stared at his nearly empty bottle. I smiled softly as I grabbed a new bottle and walked over to him. "Here ya go sparky." i said with a giggle.
He glared lightly at me as he muttered and hiccupped lightly. " Miiiira." He said as he stared me down. I raised an eyebrow. " Yes Laxus?" He snickered lightly and I tried not to laugh. " Heh, lightning in a bottle." He said as he held up his fresh bottle and promptly fell backwards off his stool. I gasped lightly and stared down at him. The master laughed and pat my arm. " Why don't you take sparky home Mira." He said with a laugh.
I rolled my eyes but walked around the bar, and looked down at the drunken slayer. " You should know better than to get into a contest with Cana." I said. He just grinned drunkenly at me and I sighed. I pulled him to his feet and put his arm around my shoulders. " God your heavy." I muttered. I wrapped an arm around him and tried not to blush as I felt his muscles under his shirt. Just get him home, put him to bed and go home. I thought to myself. It was a chore to walk with him as he kept stumbling and I was nearly dragging him.
We finally reached his small house and I had to dig in his pockets for his keys. He snickered and leaned on me more. " Tryin to feel me up Miiiira? "He slurred and I blushed. " Stupid drunk."I muttered and he snickered some more. I finally got his door unlocked and took him inside. "Laxus where's your room?" He faked a gasp. " Mirajane Strauss, so bold." I stifled a laugh as I drug him around his house till I found his room. It was very clean and neat. I let him drop onto the bed where he just giggled slightly. Laxus giggling?! I wish I had a camera.
I pulled his boots off and set them beside his bed before taking his jacket and head phones. "Miiiirajaaane. " He whined and I giggled. "Yes Laxus?" He gestured for me to come closer with his finger. I leaned down and gasped as his arms wrapped around my waist and he rolled over, pulling me with him. I squeeked and struggled in his arms but his grip just tightened, but not uncomfortably so. "L-Laxus?!" I blushed. He smiled and buried his face in my hair. "Pretty hair..." He murmured. My face like it was on fire as I tried to struggle out of his arms. The next thing I know is he is snoring in my ear. I sighed before turning in his arms and snuggling into him. Take advantage while I can.
I woke up the next morning to Laxus' presence gone. I sit up and stretch before blushing as I remembered last night. I got up and peeked around until I found him in the kitchen. I blinked in surprise. " You cook?" even with his super hearing I managed to startle him. " Uh yeah..." "Why do you eat at the guild then?" I asked. From behind I could see the tips of his ears turn red. " Because I..." He cleared his throat. "I like your cooking." He muttered and I felt my face turn red. " Sorry about last night." He continued. " Why did you drink with Cana anyway?" He snorted. "A silly bet."
"What was it?" now his neck was turning red. " If I lost I had to confess to a girl." I felt a pain in my heart but I smiled as I hopped onto the counter beside him. " Who's the lucky girl? Maybe as Fairy Tails best matchmaker, " he snorted and I smacked his arm. " I can help." I looked at him to see his face turning more tree red. "I don't think you can help. " He muttered. I pouted and he glanced at me, his face getting more red. " At least tell me who she is." He was quiet as he cooked. Mm french toast.
He sighed softly before standing in front of me and I blushed lightly. "Laxus?" He was quiet before he gently grabbed my shoulders and pulled me forward. His lips crashed into mine and my face felt like it was on fire. He pulled back slightly, his face as red as mine felt. " Mira.... I love you." I stared at him wide eyed for a moment before a smile split my face. I launched myself from the counter at him and he barely caught me as we crashed to the ground. "I love you too Laxus!" I cried before kissing him. He laughed as he kissed me back and wrapped his arms around my waist, holding me close. My Sparky.
