{This is not a ship. I thought of this really sweet idea of how Gajeel and Juvia became friends. Not Fairy Tail world, normal world. Third person P.O.V or Juvia P.O.V How ever you want}
Rain, always rain. That's all Juvia knows. Every day it rains she sits here, enjoying being out of her clean room home. The doctor says she can only go out in the rain, where it hides the sun and washes away all the things she's allergic to. She let's the water wash over her as she sits alone in the park, her parents busy with work. She jumps a little as the rains stops hitting her and she looks up. A young boy about her age stands behind her, holding a deep red umbrella. His eyes a piercing crimson and his shoulder length black hair tied out of his face.
" Hey your always out here in the rain. You could get sick doing that you know." He says as he frowns slightly. She smiles a little, pushing her blue hair out of her face. " Juvia is sick anyway."she says quietly, making him frown more. " Then why are you outside?" He asks as he sits beside her. " Well, Juvia is allergic to everything, even the sun. It's a disease Juvia has. But the doctor says, when it rains, it can supress the things that make her sick, so that's the only time she is allowed outside."she says sadly.
" So you have no friends?" she shakes her head sadly. He grins. "I'll be your friend then!" he holds out his hand. "Gajeel!" she smiled happily and takes his hand. "Juvia!"

Rain again, but Juvia didn't mind. This time she wouldn't be alone. She sat with her new pink umbrella while she waited, and soon the lanky boy with his red umbrella was running to her. "Sorry I'm late Juvia." He said with a grin. She shook her head and smiled. She looked questioningly at the box and pole on his hand. "What's that?" He grinned and pulled her up with his free hand. "I'm taking you fishing!" He pulled the small girl to the parks pond and sat on the wet grass. That was the most fun Juvia had had in her entire life.

Five years have passed since the two started meeting in the rain. The young woman hummed lightly as she walked down the wet pavement. She saw the tall man sitting on the bench they always met at, his old red umbrella resting on his shoulder. She giggled to herself as she snuck up behind him and flicked his umberlla, making him jump. " Oi!" he shouted, shooting a glare at her.
" What happened to your face?" she gasped lightly. He had fresh piercings down both sides of his nose and down his chin. He grinned and tapped one. " Like the new look?" she snorted lightly as she sat beside him. "Why would you do that to your face?" his turn to snort. " Why not?" she rolled her eyes.

Gajeel was worried, for the past three days it had rained and his friend hadn't showed up. She would always tell him how she took every opportunity to get out of the hospital clean room. Sometimes he would even meet her in the middle of the night, he never wanted her alone. He paced in front of the park bench, his umbrella leaning against it. He looked up as wet footsteps approached and he saw the blue haired woman. She was paler than usual but she forced a smile. " Gajeel-kun use your umbrella, you'll get sick." she said a little weakly.
" You alright Juv? " He asked, ignoring her. she nodded alittle. " Juvia had a lapse and got sick... She is fine for now." He frowned sadly at his sweet friend and ruffled her hair lightly. " You had me worried. I didn't think I would see you again before I left for college."she gasped slightly. " That's next week isn't it?" He nodded. She smiled and hooked her arm in his before grabbing his unbrella. " Let's celebrate!"

She didn't know how long it had been since she had seen her friend. Almost six years? He emailed her everyday and once she got a phone he also texted. She had started getting sicker and soon she couldn't even go out on rainy days. They went sure what was wrong but they did all they could for her. One day her doctor asked her. "Juvia, there is a doctor that has been studying up on a condition like yours. And we believe they have found a cure. If your willing, we can start treatment right away." Juvia nodded in excitement. " Juvia would love that!"

Juvia had never smelt flowers before, but she knew immediately that she adored their perfum. She held onto the bouquet as she waited for the doctor who changed her life to arrive. She had asked an easily got him to come so she could thank him. She stared out her window to the rain. It was her first room with a window, and she wished it was a sunny day, but she could wait. She didn't notice the door open until someone spoke. " Hey Rain Woman." she turned to see Gajeel grinning at her and a smile split her face. "Gajeel-kun! " she shouted as she jumped up and hugged him, squishing her flowers. He laughed and hugged her back.
" What are you doing here?" His grin turned sheepish. " Well... I didn't tell you, but I went to college to become a doctor... And I'm here to see my first patient." It took a moment for her to realize what he was saying. She teared up as she hugged him harder. " Thank you so much Gajeel!" His grin softened into a smile as he held the crying woman. The next day he took her out into the warm morning. She stared wide eyed at the clear sky, the sun warming her snow white skin. The light felt wonderful on her skin and she closed her eyes, letting the wonderful feeling wrap around her. She turned to her friend beside her and took his hand. " Let's go fishing!" and as they raced through the familiar park, the rain never letting go of the suns hand.
{Eh at do you guys think?}
