Alicia walked down the streets of Australia with her head down. She refused to make eye contact with anyone.

She saw the familiar door and knocked a total of 5 times in a small tune. The door opened to reveal a tall male with blonde hair and a lip ring.

He eyes her up and down hungrily, making her rub her arm uncomfortably. "Can I help you?" His deep husky voice sent shivers through her spine.

"I'm looking for Michael. He knows what I want." She replied back to him as she glanced up at his tall posture. He raised his eyebrow at her and shrugged his shoulders, sidestepping to let her past.

Alicia walked into the dark doorway and into the smokey room. A group of teenagers sat on the second-hand sofa with a joint (a cigarette consisting of a drug, normally weed) hanging from their lips. Alicia was used to visiting Michael alone, so this was an unusual encounter.

They all raised there joints in a mocking manner as she walked past them and into the room in the back of the front room. Michael was sat on a small chair with a set of scales, a bag of powdery white substance and a collection of small resealable bags.

"Sit down I'll be with you in a minute." He put on his glasses as he tipped the powder onto the scale.

"Michael it's me." Alicia sat down as he looked up and placed the bag back on the side.

"Hey Alicia. The usual?" His right hand reached into the drawer next to him and pulled out two small bags filled with the same white substance.

Cocaine.

"Yeah. Thank you." Alicia smiled at him as he handed her the bags. She grabbed the money from out of her phone case in exchange for her drugs.

Michael accepted the money and carried on measuring out the cocaine as Alicia left the room. As she face away from Michael, she shoved the bags down her top and into her bra. The group of teenagers had left which made her ease up a little. The tall blonde guy was in the kitchen smoking a normal cigarette, leaving Alicia to open and close the door behind her.

She walked back onto the street and exhaled. Shoving her hands into her pockets, she made her way back to the flat she shared with Shannon.

A policeman walked past and looked at her as she returned a simple smile and carried on walking. Making her weekly trips to Michael's always made her feel sketchy and anxious. She thought she would have been used to it by now, but she still hasn't warmed up to the idea.

She opened the door to the flat and yelled her return to Shannon. Alicia made her way upstairs and into her bedroom. She closed the lock and walked over to her dresser. Removing the pouches from her bra, she grabbed a straw that had been previously hidden.

She poured out a 4 inch line of cocaine and looked behind her, a nervous habit she had developed. The straw was placed at the start of the line and Alicia placed the end of the straw up her nostril.

When she inhaled, she felt the powdery substance make its way down the back of her thought. She inhaled one inch at a time, leaving intervals for her to shudder and cough.

She finished the line and grabbed the cup of water that had been left on her side overnight. Shannon knocked on the door, startling her so much that she almost chocked on the water.

Alicia through the empty bag out of her window and watched it fly down, making sure that it landed in the dustbin before opening her door to reveal Shannon.

"I just wanted to tell you that you left your phone downstairs." In Shannon's left hand was Alicia's iPhone.

Alicia mumbled a thanks and watched Shannon walk back down the stairs before shutting and locking her door again.

She removed the second bag of cocaine from her bra and put it into a special container that was kept under her bed. Placing the container back under her bed, she took three deep breaths and counted to ten.

After her count she laid down on her bed and let the high overcome her.
