Amrit's POV
It's been a month since I arrived in Indraprasth.
It's fun to be here but I somewhat feel incomplete. I mean all this feels as if a part of them is missing.
It feels so empty.
I was sitting on the edge of my room's window lost in all my thoughts.
When I felt a pat on my shoulder.
I turned and saw Panchali. She was standing while looking at me with concern.
"Is everything ok, Amrit?" She asked aith concern in her voice.
"I just feel so incomplete and empty." I said as I turned to the window.
"Sometimes people feel emotions which they can't interpret." She said as she walked to the window.
"I guess I will go and visit Dwarka, if you don't mind" I said whila not looking at her.
I didn't want to see her reaction. She is just so powerful yet her feelings are like a kid. And I don't want to hurt her by this decision.
"If that is what you want, I won't stop you" she said as I saw a smile coming on her face.
"Thanks Panchali!" I said as I hugged her.
"But don't forget me and visit me soon" she ordered.
"Of course, my dear bossy Panchali" I teased her.
Next morning,
I departed for Dwarka. As I reached the palace, I saw all the Ashtabharyas waiting for me.
Why are all of them waiting for me? Did I do something wrong? What the hell is happening?
Suddenly I heard some sound. I turned back and saw Dau (Balarama) and Kanha.
That makes sense.
I smiled on seeing them. We all got down from our respective chariots.
Rukmini Bhabhi started doing Kanha's aarti while Revati Bhabhi was doing Dau's.
After Rukmini, all the other Bharyas did Kanha's Aarti in turn.
I wish I had a camera to record all this. It just feels so divine.
I was smiling while looking at them when I noticed something about Rukmini.
She appears to be very familiar in looks. I have not noticed it before. I mean she reminds me of someone but I don't know who. I feel she reminds me of someone from my era.
Kanha looked at me as if he had heard my thoughts and smiled.
"So Amrit, why are you here?" He asked in a teasing tone.
"What do you mean Kanha? Do I need a reason to come here?" I asked annoyed.
"No but...." he started saying "I thought you might have a reason"
"Uff oh Aarya! Don't tease her" said Satyabhama.
Kanha did his signature smile.
Satyabhama and Rukmini took me with them.
"Are you fine Amrit? You look different." Said Satya Bhabhi
"I guess I am just tired" I said.
Do I look that different?
Rukmini Bhabhi took me to my room.
Aah! This room. I love it. It makes me feel my own.
"I will leave you to rest" said Rukmini.
"There is something that's bothering me" I said again thinking about her familiarity to my brain.
"Give it some time. Time answers every question. Yours will be answered too." She said with a convincing smile.
Wait! Does she know what is bothering me? I know that Kanha knows future and can read minds because he is Lord Vishnu. But she is Goddess Lakshmi herself, so can she read mind too?
Amrit focus! Even if she can read, it won't harm. I should ask her only.
I turned to her but was surprised to see Kanha instead of her.
"You scared me" I said.
"That's what brothers are for" he said while smiling.
"For scaring their sisters?" I asked.
He nodded as yes but said "No. But for when their sister is in confusion."
I smiled.
"You can share anything with me"
He assured me.And being assured by his words and SMILE, I told him about my confusion that Rukmini feels so familiar.
I know that he knew everything already still he feels fun on hearing it from others.
He hears my whole problem thoroughly and then smiles again.
"I can't answer this now. But don't worry you will get the answers to your questions with time"
I nodded as I felt comfortable now.
I didn't knew what to do as I saw Kanha leave and decided to go for a walk in the garden.
This garden reminds me of Arjun. This was the place from where I saw him going. And he didn't even said goodbye to me and after that we hadn't talk still. It's been almost 3 years.
