Hinata had always been a ball of sunshine from when you knew him, but today, he wasn't very energetic. You knew he had been defeated by the Great King of Trash and you wanted to make him smile again.
"Ne-Shoyo," you nudge him a little, "Do you have practice today? I'll come to watch and then take you out to ice cream later," you beam.
"okay,"
TIME SKIP TO PRACTICE
"Ah, (l/n)-chan is here," Daichi remarks.
"Hi! I hope I'm not a distraction but I promised Shoyo ice cream after this!"
"It's alright," Daichi smiles.
You watch Hinata spike down one ball after another, betting frustrated at each one because it "wasn't good enough". Then you stood up and shouted, "Shoyo nice kill!" out of nowhere, scaring the boys a little but earning a small smile from Hinata.
TIME SKIP AFTER PRACTICE
"SHOYO! You are so cool, did you see the ball go WHOOSH right past the blockers?" you ramble to him. He smiled really proudly and hugged you.
"And that's why I love you so much because you always know how to make me happy again," Hinata smiles at you as you guys head hand-in-hand into the ice cream shop.
