Chapter 7 Kisses and Goodbyes

Anna's POV
As I finish enjoying the last few hours still in Denver I hear a voice say "you better say goodbye to me before you leave" as I turn around I see my sister with both her hands on her hips giving me a stern look. I run up to her giving her a hug that almost suffocates her.

"Okay okay don't forget I need to breath" my sister says. "Ugh I'm going to miss you so much! Why can't you come back with me so we can celebrate Christmas together?" I say. "Uhh because I have a job that pays for bills" I giggle and give her one more hug before heading into the car.

As hop in Shawn says "you ready?" I nod as he drives off. I quickly turned on the radio to try and distract myself from leaving my sister. I turn to the side in hopes that Shawn can't see my tears. As I see the car pull over I see that we're not at the airport yet.

"Hey what's wrong" Shawn asks, I just respond with sobs. "I just....I'm gonna miss her and you so much...and I'm going to have to spend Christmas alone this year" "hey hey" Shawn says "I'm here right now don't worry." I just sat there hugging Shawn until I felt better.

Shawn's POV
As I was hugging Anna a brilliant idea popped up. "Hey Anna since your not doing anything for Christmas maybe you can come with me to Toronto?" Anna perks up for a second but then quickly slouches back down. "Shawn you know I would love to but I have to go back home, I bought a ticket already" I quickly respond "I can buy you a new one we can spend the first half in Toronto and the second half with you."

Anna cups my face and says "I love you but that's too much, I will be fine at home I'm just acting pouty. Don't worry about me" she gently kisses my check, leaving me red with blush.

"Only because I love you am I agreeing to this" I said as I started the car back up again and drove to the airport.

I usually fly private, but because Denver is a tricky spot there was only commercial. I hopped out of the car as I opened the door for Anna hundreds of girls came up to me. One thing that I have learned from a good friend Ed is that if you wanna be just like him you gotta work 10 times harder. I always get to the airport 2-3 hours early just so that I will have enough time to take pictures with fans.

As I was taking photos with the girls, one of them a few years younger than me came up to me and pointed at Anna and said "is that your girlfriend?" I chuckled and whispered to the girl "hopefully"

As I finished taking the last picture I blew a kiss to the fans and walked up to Anna. "You ready to go in?" I asked she nodded as we headed in.

Anna's POV
I don't usually mind waiting for Shawn to take photos but for some reason I was getting impatient, I was so relieved when he said he was done.

Security was a hassle but when we got through Shawn and I looked for each other's gates only to realize they were on opposite sides. I turned to him as he turned to me and gave a sympathetic smile. I hugged him for about a good 5 minutes until I heard my flight number boarding, I gave him one last kiss as I walked away.

As much as I told Shawn I was going to be fine I know in reality I will probably just sit at home Doing nothing feeling sorry for myself.
