Anna's POV
I look at him annoyed as I say "what do you want"
He gives me an empathetic look as he says "I know we left off on bad terms so I wanted to make it up to you, I'm really sorry and I hope we can stay friends"
I was quite surprised at what he said "thank you. I don't accept your apology though"
"Why, what can I do to make it better?" He says. I can tell he really means it. God I must be stupid to trust him again
"It's cool, we're cool don't worry" I say showing a tiny smile
"Hey maybe we could hang sometime" jack says
I smile as I respond "I would like that"
"I'm free this weekend" he says "me too" I respond
He smiles as he says "great see you then" and walks off.
I go grab my coffee from Starbucks as I walk back to my apartment I can't help but smile. I don't have many friends, well I have three, Mara Cameron and Shawn. Well now I guess four including jack. I'm happy I said yes to hanging out. It'll be nice to have a friend who actually lives near me.
As I reach the apartment I go up to Shawn and kiss him on the lips and say "morning " he smiles as he says "someone's in a good mood"
"Yeah, jack and I just made up and now we're having lunch this weekend"
"Wait what" Shawn says a bit aggravated
"Well jack and I made up and we're going out to have lunch as friends"
" I don't trust him. I don't think you should go" Shawn says
"Shawn no offense but you don't control me. We wouldn't be dating if it was like that"
He sighed as he said "I know, just be careful, okay"
I smirk as I walk up to him pecking his cheek as I says "I will trust me"
