Chapter 62 Cheesecake Factory

Shawn's POV
As Cassie and I order our food she looks up at me.

"Thank you for taking care of me" she says.

I smile back and reply "my pleasure"

We sit there in awkward silence for a bit. I don't really know what to talk to with a 5 year old. The awkward tension only gets weirder with people staring at us from every direction. I thought about going on my phone but I felt like it would be rude if I did so I just sat there folding the corner of my napkin until Cassie decided to say something.

"How famous are you" she asks

I stare at her blankly "um...huh"

"Like on a scale of 1-10 how famous"

I chuckle, "hah this has to be the most random and bizarre question I have ever been asked Umm I think I would say probably about a 5"

"Well it doesn't seem like that by the amount of people that are staring at you in this restaurant" she says a bit too loud. All the people hear her and quickly turn away. It was quite funny to see those people thinking they were being slick by taking there photos as if they were on the phone with someone.

"I have another question for you" Cassie says

"Shoot" I respond

"When do you start you tour"

"Oh gosh, I think it actually starts in 3 weeks and a couple of days" I never really realized how upcoming tour was until now. We're still trying to figure out what songs to put on the set list. Although I love it when fans start tweeting me saying they'll kill me if certain songs aren't on the set list.

"Tour seems like fun" she says

"It is a lot of fun, but it's also a lot of work. You have to work out the times and the days, and you can never get sick. Also your gone for a few months so scheduling time to see your family is important. But thankfully I have a team that helps me manage everything"

Cassie's eyes grew big as she said "wow I didn't know tour could be so stressful...why do you do it then?"

"Because as stressful as it is it's also one of the most amazing feelings in the world. Having all those people come out just to see you is crazy. It makes me so thankful for everything"

"Wow" is all that Cassie says. I smile as the waiter comes and brings us our food.

"Now eat so we can go see your aunt Anna" I said as Cassie starts chomping on her food
