Chapter 53 Who do i call

Jamie's POV
It's been two hours of me and Cassie at the hospital, and I've been pacing back and forth like an emotional mess.

As I was walking I bumped into a nurse who saw me and Cassie and said "I can take your child to the daycare if this is too much"

I weakly smiled and nodded as she took Cassie with her.

I didn't know who to call. Anna didn't have many friends, and her and I haven't caught up in a while.

Wait no I remember the last time we talked she said she was dating Shawn.

I didn't know now if she was dating Shawn since the whole him and Camilla thing but I thought he deserved the right to know anyway.

Calling Shawn...

"Hey Jamie! Long time no chat"

"Uh yeah Shawn it's been a while" I Said choking on my words

"Hey Jamie what's wrong?"

"It's Anna Shawn.." after I said that he went silent on the other line

"What about her.." he said hoping that it was not what he thought.

"I don't know if she's going to make it. She was there on the floor alone. Oh god I'm a terrible brother"

He was silent on the line for a good ten seconds until he Said "im coming as soon I can"

Shawn's POV
As I hung up the phone with Jamie I looked at Camilla and said "I'm sorry I have to go it's Anna"

Camilla looked at me a bit annoyed as she Said "oh okay."

"What's wrong?" I asked.

She paused before she said "Shawn I know this is going to sound selfish but what happened to us I have so many questions. You and I used to actually be in love not this fake thing. And I know you love Anna and me. But why can't you just choose me.  Love me. Let it be me?"

I looked at her stunned before I said "I am so sorry but I really do have to go. But we can talk about this when I get back oaky?"

She looked at me and then looked down as she said "I'm never the one"

I looked at her with empathy as I kissed her forehead and ran to my car.
