Chapter 124 New girl

Annas POV
Today is my First day at the new glamour headquarters and I am so nervous. I have my first shoot with some guy named Charlie, no sadly not Charlie puts, but Charlie French. All I know is he is a singer, just like Shawn.

Speaking of Shawn I am not really sure where the two of us stand, we say we're friends but we never talk. And I am always trying to avoid him so I am not sure if that counts as 'friends'

I walk into the office ten minutes late just so I can grab a coffee before I begin shooting.

Charlie is supposed to get here at 8:30am and all the outlines for how Ms.Gordon wants the shoot to look are here.

As I sit in my office and sip my coffee I hear a knock at the door, "come in" I say.

Ms.Gordon emerges from the door with a huge smile, "Hey darling, like your new apartment?"

"Ha ha very funny, but Shawn and I are not dating and we never will again. We're just friends now."

She huffs as she says, "well there's no story in there, i did not pay for half of the cost of your apartment to get a we're just friends."

Wait what? I thought that it was a discount from the business but not from Ms.Gordon.

"Wait are you blackmailing me?" I ask confused.

"Call it what you want but I need a juicy story, and Shawn is untouchable canvas, that only you can paint on" she walks back to the end of the doorway as she turns back, "and hon, do think about this very wisely"

I gulp as she leaves. She can end my career within a second and that's a lot of pressure.

Right then my assistant Devin knocks in my door, "Miss Anna Charlie is Here"

I nod as I head to the first space where the shoot will take place. Once I open the door I see an extremely cute guy with hair flopped in the middle. Oh my god he looks Like a young Leonardo DiCaprio.

"Thank you" he chuckles.

"Wait I said that out loud didn't I?"

"Yeah" he responds, I cover my face so he can't see my blushed cheeks, "Hey no don't worry about it, I have to say you are quite gorgeous yourself"

"Well thank you" I say with a big wide smile.

"You have a great smile" he says staring at me, what is this feeling, I feel so giddy.

I clear my throat as I say, "should we start the shoot?"

He nods as I direct him in which outfit he should change into first and where to look.

The first spot we went to went well. I was able to get some great shots, and talking to Charlie wasn't so bad either. He was so charming and sweet, I have never felt this way about any other guy except Shawn.

As We wrapped up the last location he tapped my shoulder, I turned around to see him shirtless with only dress pants on.

"Hi" I say smiling.

"Hey, I was wondering if I could see some of those photos you took"

"Of course" I respond as I pull out my laptop. I had already downloaded them onto my computer and all I had to do was edit them.

"Wow there amazing, and the coloring wow"

"Thank you" I say as I blush.

He looked me in the eyes as he asks, "are you single"

I look at him unsure of how to respond, "yes I mean well yes"

He furrows his eyebrows as he says, "it's complicated?"

"Extremely"

"Well I did enjoy just talking to you...would you like to do it again?"

"Sure" I say. He grins as he says, "how about tomorrow?"

"I would like that"

"Well I have to get going but I will see you tomorrow Anna"

"See you tomorrow Charlie French"

He smiles and waves a he leaves.

I think I like him.
