"Come on, little sis. The individual session starts in five minutes!" My sister Rocky is quite a heavy sleeper. I always have to force her up. It's not that hard really, even though her element is stronger than mine, I have my ways of getting her up. It involves a very annoying sound that I know she just hates. "Is it that time already?" She asks as she wakes up and rubs her eyes. "Yeah, well, we should've been eating ten minutes ago. However, since you look so adorable when you sleep, I decided to let you sleep in." I say, crossing my arms at her. "Or you're just too scared to actually wake me up the way you want to." Rocky then answers. "Touché, little sis...let's get going. We don't want to be late."

We're in the eastern academy. It's one of the hottest places on earth, elementally speaking among other things. Here, the most usual elements are either earth or fire. Well, if you haven't guessed mine by name, I'll just say it: I carry the element of fire, while my little sister named 'Rocky' carries within her the element of earth. That can be anything from freaking annoying sandstorms to rocks suddenly smashing you to pieces. In other words, if she gets really angry, you don't want to be on the other side.

That suits me fine though, considering my biological sister also happens to be my elemental partner. Usually they haven't allowed siblings to be partners, but we've just fitted so well together, as a team and all that so they have just let us be and you know what, I'm not gonna complain. We are like any other normal pair of sisters in the world, but coming to the academy pretty much at the same time, has seen us come closer than ever.

"I hate these sessions....they're so useless for us." Rocky says as we're walking down towards the session-room. "No, they're not. You just hate getting up early." I point out as other Juniors are walking along with us. It's been the same crowd for years now. I've excelled a lot faster than any of them along with my sister. They've said to us that we're really close to reaching the Elemental-level and soon will be ready to head off to the intense Military Academy. I'm not actually thrilled to be in a war if I'm perfectly honest, but that's where you go when you reach the level of Elemental, and you have to stay there for a certain amount of years.

After a few minutes, Rocky and I finally get to the designated session area. "See, we didn't have to rush it to get here in time?" She then says to me as there aren't that many Juniors here before us. She's always grumpy in the morning, always like this. And I've heard I can be hard to handle...jeez. "Well, it doesn't actually hurt to be out a little early, sis. Let's grab a seat and maybe you can nap a little." I then say mocking as we find a spot. "If I could use my element on you, I would've done it by now, and you'd be flipping out." She then answers as I smile to myself. We find a spot in the middle of the room as the rest starts to find their seats.

It's not a big class. The eastern academy is actually one of the smaller ones on the planet, actually both the eastern and the western are smaller than southern or the northern. People either stick to the south or to the north. Our days are therefore quite laidback when it comes to the elemental training. The sessions are quite short and we even have a couple of hours on our own before the dual-sessions. "Keep your eyes open, little sis. It's about to start." I then say as I bump into her sitting there. She is actually almost sleeping. It's amazing how that girl can manage to sleep so much. "I've never really fallen asleep since you woke me up, Blaze. Save the elbow for later." She then warns me as the Senior calls out for the attention.

"Okay, Juniors, it's time to show some of your work from yesterday..." He says as he picks one random Junior right in front of me. Rocky and I have stopped ending up in the front because we've shown time and time again that we master our elements brilliantly. From time to time they have to call us up to make sure that we're not just skipping through the sessions. In the dual-sessions, we've shown them that we master our own element and at the same time can manage against our direct weakness: mine being water, hers being wind. Those fights take huge tolls on us though so they throw all the hardest matches at us constantly.
