Earth - Year 3204
Northern academyBlaze:
I don't sense him following me after I shut him up. Last time I check, he's still standing there as I keep making my way to my first session in this place. I'm only guessing Breeze will come around eventually and join me. No one really wants to miss out on a session. It goes on a record that can determine your highest achievable rank when you're being transported to the higher training facilities for field-combat. I haven't given Breeze the credit of much in my short time of knowing him, but I at least think he's smart enough to know that.At least that's what I keep thinking as I'm making my way to this new Senior's office. I'll supposedly be meditating my way back to a better sense of control of my element. Well, maybe, but he's not getting inside my head, that's for sure. As I get there and the door slides open, I take a few steps to see the Senior checking his watch before looking up at me. Apparently I'm a few minutes late. "Way to make an impression, J.E. Blaze. You're twenty minutes late for your first session..." He mentions. Okay, so I'm more than just a couple of minutes late. "Forgive me for being late...I'm not quite familiar with this place yet." I answer.
He looks at me with a slightly funny look at first. "Is that so?" He asks as he takes a few steps towards me. "I thought Breeze gave you the tour around this place yesterday?" He then says as he's crossing his arms, trying to get a somewhat more 'right' explanation from me. "Well, I'm sorry to say I don't have an eidetic memory after one day..." I answer back at him. "Alright, alright, calm down, Junior. I've heard you've got quite a temper." He answers. I shrug lightly. "So have I." I answer.
The Senior checks his watch again and walks against the door to have a look. Apparently Breeze isn't planning on coming down here any time soon. "Have you seen your partner? He should've been here...well, now 25 minutes ago." He then asks me as I lift on my shoulder. Apparently Breeze has better things to do than to do meditating, which he has actually told me is good training. Maybe he just needs to get his priorities straight? "I haven't seen him since he encountered Rain and Ember..." I answer. "Oh..." The Senior answers as if he recognizes that scenario.
"Then he's probably not coming..." He then says as he's sitting down. "Come on, have yourself a seat, J.E. Blaze...we're already late enough as it is." He says. I'm hesitating a little. I don't really like this setting. However I give into his demand and I sit myself down in front of him, crossing my legs like he does. "Considering it's just going to be you and me in this session, I can spend this session getting to know you better." He starts. "Of course I've read the reports numerous of times, but it's not exactly the same as what you'll be telling me." He says. "Is that so?" I answer.
"It's pretty obvious what I'm after here, J.E. Blaze. You're being very defensive with me right here, just as I've read about you." He says. "Fine...what do you want to know?" I then ask as he raises an eyebrow. "I really thought it was obvious..." He says as it finally hits me. "And how do you want to do this?" I then ask him. "Well, for one you don't talk about it..." He starts. Oh. "You meditate back to that moment and I get inside your head to experience it all with you." He answers. "You see, I had a very strong principle coming here: not letting anyone inside my head." I then answer.
"Oh, well, I knew you weren't going to be too fond of the idea, but that is besides the point of this. To be able to help you direct the correct emotions to your element, I need to know what snapped inside that head of yours." He says, but I'm not going to give it to him. I guess a part of him senses that as he gets up on his feet, catching me off guard. "Wow, hey, that's it?" I ask him as I get up and take a few steps closer to him. "Well, if you're not going to let me work on your head, there's nothing I can do here..." He answers. A smart guy this one.
