Earth: Year 3205
The Military Academy on the moon
Breeze:
Sneaking around the crowd and among some of the Seniors, I’ve heard rumor that there was a female Elemental that was going crazy in here, in the dorms. They spoke of the place being so badly burned that there were great doubts about whether or not they can fix it for tonight. Many factors indicate that they have to find a temporary solution by the way things are in here. I’ve managed to sneak past the barricades. They’re not allowing anyone in here, but here I am.
To the point, things are about a thousand times worse than the impression I was left with when I heard everybody talking. This Elemental…wow, whoever she is, she’s one of the most powerful Elementals alive. I never imagined this kind of damage from anyone here…well, except for the Grand Master, but I don’t imagine he was here to kill some of his own Elementals. I won’t play stupid though. I can tell the intensity of the fire started from the corner where our beds were. The Grand Master has been after Blaze for something she seems to possess. He has been ever since he first became aware of the intensity of our elements. It remains to be seen what he’s going to do with her once he gets his hands on whatever it is that he’s after.
I walk around the rubbles, trying to be as careful as possible, but that’s nearly impossible with everything cracking into even smaller pieces due to the intense heat-wave that occurred not that many hours ago. I’m bending down for a moment, trying to imagine what really happened. My problem is that I can’t really relate to the element of fire, but at the same time this just feels all too familiar. The pattern of the flames and the damage that I see all around me – something is just all too familiar about it. I get back up on my feet and keep walking further into the room, towards what seems to be the starting-point of the inferno when something catches my attention by blinding my eyes.
I keep a weather eye around me, just to make sure I’m all by myself in here before making my way closer to the object catching my attention. As I bend down and brush off some of the dust…or ashes I think it is I recognize the necklace…the chain and the name fastened to it. It’s the necklace that Blaze got from Rocky. She must’ve left it here when she fled or whatever she did…she wouldn’t just leave it behind. I know her better than that…or do I? There are some holes in her story from earlier. Could she be involved in this? I know she’s been slightly different and she was having a headache before I left, before hell broke loose to be fair, but things seems to be rather normal…I think.
No, I should know better than that. I just have the feeling that I should. There’s been so much to take notice to around here: Master Storm’s looks towards Senior Pool during the tour, and the fact that Blaze and I speculated on there being something between Pool and the Grand Master. This all seems to point towards one inescapable fact: something is going to happen. Something might just around the corner for someone. Should we be watching his back as well instead of him just watching ours? All of these questions starts to swirl around inside my head as I twitch the moment I hear someone shouting for me. “Hey you!”
Senior Fall is making his way towards me from the barricades. “I do believe this area was sealed off from nosey Elementals.” He lets out as he walks up to me. I get up on my feet. “Sorry, Senior, I couldn’t help myself.” I let out trying to hide the necklace in my hand, but it seems way too obvious as he notices it the minute he looks down on my hand. “Want to tell me what you’re trying to hide off from me?” He asks. I don’t respond. “Listen, the sooner you tell me, the less are the chances that I’ll confiscate it. I probably won’t even then, but I have to keep my appearance up in front of the other Seniors to make a point.” He lets out.
