Breeze:
"Hey, sleepy head, time to get up!" I let out as I'm putting my uniform on. "Hey, it's morning already. Why don't we try to eat and actually get to our session on time?" I ask as I see that Blaze is somewhat still sleeping. I know she's awake though. I've come to know her trademarks over the past year. I often sense her smile whenever I have my back turned towards her. It's less than a second, but I always notice. "I can tell that you're smiling when I have my back turned towards you. Just please, get out of the bed now?" I almost plead. As I turn around she shrugs, while still keeping her eyes closed. "Or what?" She asks. "Do you really want to know?" I ask as she opens her eyes. I raise my eyebrows as she grunts at me.
"You promised me you weren't going to do that ever again." She complains as she throws off her blanket and swings her feet over the edge of the bed. "You really think I'd stick to that promise? It was hilarious." I let out as she's smiling sarcastically back at me. "Hilarious for one of us Breeze...better watch it. I might do something in return..." She warns me as she gets dressed. "Alright, here you go, you've got me on my feet. Let's go eat...apparently sessions on an empty stomach and grumpy attitude isn't really recommended." She lets out as I half-laugh. "Really, I had no idea that that combo wasn't recommended." I let out joking as we make our way out of the room, and she elbows me in the arm.
"You're so funny you have no idea, Breeze." She lets out in the tone known as slightly annoyed. "Come on, cheer up a little bit. At least you get to eat this time." I make sure to point out. She turns her head a little bit. "Yeah, I kinda do. Maybe I can annoy you for once..." Blaze lets out as I let out a laugh at her response. "Annoy? Come on, I haven't been that bad since returning to training, have I?" I defend myself as we get to the cafeteria. "No, you haven't been that bad at all..." She lets out at first grabbing a tray as I follow her movement before she turns to me. "You've been far worse..." She answers.
We find our usual table and sit down. "Right, now, you keep your fingers on your food and we'll be good." Blaze says as she gives me a warning finger. I smile slightly amused by her tone. "No worries, I've had my fair share of fun at your expense for one day." I answer as I turn my attention to the food and get a couple of good bites before I randomly look up and around at the crowd gathered for breakfast. My eyes stop at one person staring at me from the other side of the room - Rain. Ember is trying to reach him, but he seems to be overly focused on me.
Whatever grin I had on my face disappears and I look back down on my place. Blaze is about to come with a witty remark when she notices that Rain is staring at me and I'm looking back down on the plate. I hear her sigh deeply as she turns to her food for a moment. "Stares and complete silence for an entire year..." She lets out as I turn my head towards her. "What about it?" I answer a little too harsh as she drops her fork slightly in her food before she grabs it determinedly. "Never mind...I said I wasn't going to meddle in whatever you had going on against him and I'm going to stick to it for once."
I turn my attention back towards the food. My fork is playing around with it as I know that I've just lost my appetite. One would think that not having my brother talking behind my back all the time would actually make things easier around here, but maintaining this no-contact thing has been damn harder than I ever imagined when actually cutting the cord. As I let out a deep sigh to myself, I notice that someone suddenly grabs a piece of my fries.
"Hey!" I snap as Blaze lifts on her shoulders innocently. "You were being all mulchy and philosophical by the looks of it...thought I'd snap you out of it." She lets out as I half-smile to myself. "Are you gonna eat at all?" She then asks me. I shake my head after a while. Technically my stomach is screaming for food, but my appetite as fallen through the floor as I just look down on it. "Okay, your loss. Let's get going. I really want to spill some flames today." Blaze lets out as she gets up from the bench. I follow her a second later and we walk out of the food-hall together.
