Annika silently peaked inside the ward.Here shivaay quickly shifted his eyes towards the door as he somehow knew that it was annika this time.When annika saw him awake she felt contented and she slowly moved forward.But shivaay was shocked to see her condition, she was wearing a white t-shirt with a white skirt which was full of blood stains.Her braid was collapsed and moreover seeing her red puffy eyes he understood she had been crying throughout the night.He felt a pain in his heart watching the state of the girl.

She slowly took baby steps to him ,both of them didn't move their eyes from each other.While walking she didn't notice a basin stand,and she dashed it ...

S-annika ...sambalke(at once he reacted)

She came near his bed,and stood silently still looking at his eyes.Then she tried to speak ...

A-aap teek....
S-tum teek ho na annika(pulling her hand)
Before she could ask ,he asked her and listening to it immediately tears ran down her cheecks and she held his hand with both her hands and took his hand near her face and closed her eyes tightly.Why this man always cares for me, why ...she thought.

Shivaay was baffled, by her action and he slowly managed to sit and caressed her head ...
S-annika...what happened annika ,plss don't cry I'm fine annika plss,plss stop crying annika plss...

And annika instantly hugged him in the sitting position ,with her head burried in the crook of his neck holding his head....

A-bahut dar gayi mein....(crying hysterically)bahut dar gayi....agar ....aapko kuch ....hojatha ...tho ......(her breath started fluttering because of crying)

Shivaay noticed her condition and caressed her back ...
S- I'm fine annika ,stop crying plss.

Then she felt something ,and looked down too see shivaay pinning a smiley badge on her tops.
(Actually shivaay carries the smiley everyday with him from the day annika gave it to him,so the nurse has kept all his belongings in the table near his bed)

Watching this she slowly looked up to meet his blue orbs, he smiled at her and asked her to smile in return.

Then she remembered their first meeting and chuckled between her tears and held him more tightly .He slightly winced in pain at the moment and immediately she moved and got up from the bed ...

A-sorry ....sorry shivaay...did I hurt you ,I'm sorry(her eyes depicted pain)

Shivaay understood that she was very much scared for him and he asked her to come near(through eyes)and told her to sit on the bed.She also obeyed him like a child.Then he slowly held her head with both his hands and brought her closer to him and gently placed his lips on her forehead.She felt peace at that moment,and slowly closed her eyes in contentment. Time just paused at that instant for both of them and they remained in the same position for a few moments.Then they both leisurely joined their foreheads and looked into each others eyes.

After sometime shivaay rubbed the tears on her cheecks then he gently settled her slumped hair.Then his eyes fell on her wounds on her hand ,he started blowing them and scolded her for not tending the wounds. All this time she was looking at him in amazement, how he always treated her like a baby...

S-is it paining annika?(while blowing her wounds)
She nodded negatively...
A-you didn't sleep all this time.
S-how could I sleep without seeing you,actually I was waiting for you .Muje pata hai ki tum zaroor aaogi .

She smiled hearing what he said.
S-vaise annika ,daadi told that you were in OM,but you have not changed yet?

Annika just covered up something and convinced him,as she knew that daadi had lied to him.

And still he was blowing her wounds gently.

Then she realized their position they were very close to each other.She could feel his breath on her face and the proximity started effecting her .She suddenly got up and stood near the bed and he watched her with confused reaction...

A-I ...think you...must rest now(stammering)I'll wait outside saying this she turned to go but...
S-annika...(she looked at him)
S-who were those people,who attacked us.
A-they came .. ..to kill...me shivaay(she said with hesitation)
S-what?tume kuch nahi huwa na (shocked )
A-shivaay ,I'm fine .We'll talk about this later plss .You need rest now .

By the time a nurse entered to inject shivaay.Then she was about to move ,but shivaay asked her to dress the wounds in annika's hands.Annika refused saying that she was fine,but shivaay strictly insisted the nurse to tend her wounds.

Before going with the nurse,annika went to him and held his hand giving him a smile...
S-I'm fine annika,tum jao(he said with an assuring smile)

And she went with the nurse to the dressing room.The nurse was cleaning the wound...
N-so you are annika.
Annika nodded.
N-The patient ...Shivaay sir was continuously asking for you to the old lady(daadi),when I was in the ward.Are you his lover.

Annika nodded negatively ,but she was thinking about what the nurse told.She was sure that shivaay is really an important person in her life,she definitely feels something for him,is it love?(she thought)But immediately she remembered his condition now.It's all because of her ,she was the one who forced shivaay to take him to that place.The goons who stabbed him,actually came to kill her.She  doesn't want to hurt him more,so she burried all her feelings and decided to leave him as soon as possible.But she clearly knew that it is impossible  for her to live without him,because the last night has clearly shown what would her life be without him.But she was also in an helpless state now because she can't be selfish and put him in danger.
