After the function.

Shalini was moving towards the kitchen when she was suddenly pulled by annika.

Sh- annika?where are you taking me now ,I've some work leave me.

A- chup.

She took her to their room and locked the door.

Sh- annika,what happened?

A- you only have to tell that shalini,what happened ?

Sh- matlab?no....nothing(she hesitated)

A- shalini pls I know you very well ,there is something which is bothering you .Tell me what is it?

Without replying anything shalini sat on the bed face palming herself.A worried annika neared her and held her shoulders to give some support.

A- hey ...shalini,kya huwa?(she asked in a low voice)

After a long pause shalini spoke .

Sh- yesterday night,I went to meet my friend.(she paused after every word)

A- han,you told me you were going to Shree's house .

Sh- vahan,vahan...when I went Shree's husband told me that she wasn't there,so I decided to leave.

A- then?

Sh- but before I could leave  uski husband ,(she uttered being scared) vo muje, muje .(she halted)He tried to ...(within next few seconds her eyes started watering)He tried to molest me.(she cried bitterly)

A- shalini,(annika immediately hugged her rubbed her back to calm her)You are fine right?

Sh- nahi nahi ,annika muje kuch nahi huwa. I pushed him when he was trying to get close,due to which he banged on the wall and fell unconscious and I immediately rushed out from there.

A(meeting her face)- You have done the right thing,which has to he done.There's nothing wrong in what you did .Situations like these ,teach you who you are .And I know my shalini is a brave girl(cupping her face)Then why you are still feeling for that?

Sh- pata nahi,I'm not able to forget it.That moment, I was very scared like ,(nodding)I don't know what to say.Bool nahi parahi hoon mein.
