The gear giving ceremony was over.  All the juniors and seniors left the place to celebrate their inception into the faculty on their own.  Among the fun and frolic, the two souls never looked at each other and behaved as if they were strangers who never met each other.  Nobody peered into their lives except for their friends Maprang and of course, Mew over the phone because of live update by Maprang, he could not be there since he was not from the same faculty.  After the ceremony, Mew came to the beach to keep an eye on Arthit and Kong.  As they sensed nothing would come from Arthit, they left him leaving to his own fate and choice of life.  Although, they were not far away from him since they were all on the beach sprawled around the tiny shops to enjoy drinks and tasty delicacies.

Arthit did not go with his friends but sat on the beach gazing at the distant sky.  He did not have the courage to face Kong after the slap.  He was somewhat avoiding him and Kong too on his part was doing the same thing.  A last try by Mew came handy.  Arthit's phone dinged and a message on his line account read like this:

Mew:  "Don't give up Arthit.  Just go and claim him.  Once if you lose him,  you will regret throughout your life.  You are a  lazy bug, but this is not the time to laze around.  Once you get him, you have full life to be lazy and be pampered by him.  Be a horse and gallop at the full speed to get your grass or your fill.  Sorry, I do not know how to connect horse and getting your  Kong.  Very bad at similes.  My  English sucks and with what difficult I cleared my English examination.  You know better than me, the torture torture I suffered under your tutoring to study the horrible past tenses and................................"

It went on and on without any full stop.   But at least Arthit understood then what he had to do.  Arthit started searching for his love interest and finally spotted him sitting on the stock.  Arthit bought a glass of crush gola from the nearby vendor.  He went near his love and gently asked him:

"Wanna some?"

Kong just looked up and stared at the man whom he loved so much

Kong just looked up and stared at the man whom he loved so much.  At first, he felt elated that he was offering him his  favourite drink but his brain flashed the scenes of insults and a slap by the very same person.  He immediately looked down and nodded in his head indicating,

"No"

"Kong, I know this is your favourite.  Please don't say no".

"I just told you that  I do not want it".

"Ok, can I sit here, please".

"Sure, but I am just leaving ".

"Ok, now do not sulk, I want to speak to you something important".

"I am not sulking and whom am I to you to do that?"

So saying Kong stood up but he was pulled down by Arthit who had already settled on the stock.  Kong could not do anything as he did not feel right to be rude to his lover.  Slowly, both settled there and started gazing the sky at the far off distance.  Arthit meanwhile, scooped a spoonful  of gola and brought it near Kong's mouth.  Though Kong was surprised but he opened his mouth to take the gola though melted from his lover's hand.  It went down his food pipe, heart and finally stomach chilling the burning pain in his body.  Arthit fed him spoon by spoon staring at him and in return stared doubly by his lover and both drifted into some gola land.  When the cup containing gola was emptied by Arthit, Kong shifted his gaze from Arthit's eyes to his lips.

The starry sky, the deserted beach, the cool breeze and the yearning of love to be expressed by lovers made the ambience romantic and at  that moment as if Kong's wish was granted.  Arthit moved very close to Kong's face and placed his hand at the back of his neck.  He pulled him forward and kissed his lips.

"This is the first and last initiative I take kissing you, next time you have to do this".
