Back at home base, Christine waited eagerly for her little sister to return from her mission along with her parents. Eventually a blue light phased into the living room and Gabriella emerged, striking a pose as she did so.
"That wasn't too hard! I even got some data from that battle!" Gabriella says as Christine hugs her.
"Nice job Gabby!" Christine says as she lets go and Gabriella pushes on the crystal in her helmet. It opens up to reveal a strange cross between a data chip and a recording device. She gives it to Sara who slots it in the table structure. It shows pretty much the whole battle between Gabriella and Bow Blader and the computer monitor switches to show the maverick hunter base. Zero and Iris show up on the screen and they see the whole battle as well.
"I must say, X would be proud." Zero chuckles. "The only reason he isn't here is because he's out on a mission ironically."
"Now that's funny." Gabriella laughs. "With that data you can get some new weapons out of it." And with that, Sara replays the battle so the two can analyze it more. Iris takes into note the silver cello and it's entrance while Zero notes the octave clef on a rope that Bow Blader threw.
"Let me see your chips." Iris says as Christine takes out her's. She hands it over to Gabriella and she slots them into the computer. Much to her surprise the chips go straight through and they show up on the other side where Iris and Zero take the chips and process the data recorded. "Don't worry, you'll get them back. We're just adding weapon data to them." In the background, Christine and company can clearly see Zero and Iris working in the background for a few minutes before they high five in success. The chips are sent back over and Christine and Gabriella put them back into the crystals where they feel a sudden power surge. Gabriella's X-buster now bears a musical note on it but Christine sees no visible change.
"How come you don't look different?" Gabriella asks.
"It's all in the saber." Christine replies. "I've learned a new move." And with that the two head outside to test their new weapons. Gabriella aims at a tree and then fires. An octave clef shoots out of the X-buster, tied to said buster by a rope, and it lassos itself around the tree. Gabriella retracts it back into the buster to fire again, this time, aiming off to the sky. The next shot shoots the clef on a rope straight out and Gabriella swings her arm around, turning the clef into a meteor hammer type weapon, before slamming the clef down on the ground with terrifying force. Christine activates her Z-saber and jumps up a distance before landing, driving the saber into the ground as she does so. The result is an earthquake attack that knocks Gabriella off her feet.
"Hey! I'm right here you know that?" Gabriella complains as she gets back on her feet and Christine pulls the saber out.
"Sorry..." Christine chuckles, scratching the back of her helmet. Suddenly, a rainbow colored light phases in and reveals another reploid. She sports long, wavy blonde hair, turquoise armor, and glasses.
"Hello, my friends." The reploid says.
"Who are you?!" Christine asks.
"The name's Havannah." Havannah replies. "I've been sent here to check up on maverick activity."
"Are you on our side?" Gabriella asks. Havannah whips out her weapon to answer her question.
"What is that?! An overpowered cattle prod?" Christine asks.
"It's an electric spear, and I'm gonna use this to shish-kabob your circuits!" Havannah shouts as she leaps into the air and drives the spear into the ground! An electric wave catches both girls off guard and they get comically electrocuted. "You like that?" Christine and Gabriella have various char marks from the attack but Christine shrugs her attack off.
"I'll handle this sis." Christine says as Gabriella retreats back inside and Christine swipes at Havannah. The latter manages to dodge every swipe until Christine drives her saber into the ground. The subsequent earthquake disorients Havannah long enough for Christine to land several free slashes. Havannah then returns to normal and begins blocking Christine's slashes before jabbing the latter with the tip once more. Christine gets another electric shock and leaps back to assess the damage. Aside from more char marks and a stab wound, Christine is relatively unscathed and she lunges once more. This time, Christine manages to hack Havannah's arm clean off!
"GAH!!!" Havannah screams as she drops her weapon. Putting her remaining hand in the air, Christine disarms as Havannah collects her severed arm. "I just wanted to test you. I wasn't even giving it a hundred percent. I'll see you again." Havannah says as she teleports out.
"Huh... Why did she stop all of a sudden?" Christine asks herself as she heads back inside. Meanwhile, Havannah has teleported back to Jack's base to report and repair herself.
"My god! What happened?!" Jack asks, seeing Havannah's current status.
"Sigma, we've got some maverick hunters out there, and they look awfully familiar. Do the colors blue and red sound familiar?" Havannah asks as Sigma comes online through Jack's computer. He is appropriately shocked at not just Havannah but her words as well.
"Red and blue you say?! Don't tell me X and Zero are here!" Sigma says, frightened for the two.
"Here, let me see if I can do anything." Jack says as he takes Havannah's severed arm and analyzes where it's been sliced. "It's not at a crucial joint so this should be no sweat." And with that, Jack reattaches Havannah's arm and professionally welds it back into place- Havannah can move her arm again like nothing ever happened to it!
"Thanks!" Havannah says, hugging Jack.
"No problem. When you've got the brain of one of the best reploids you're bound to have lots of information stored in your brain, including how to fix reploids." Jack replies. "I have a feeling that we're going to need some backup."
"Agreed. I'll send someone down here to help you out. He used to be a maverick hunter as was I so he should have lots of background knowledge on how they operate." Sigma replies, and no sooner does a purple light phase in. When the light dissipates, standing before Jack and Havannah is a purplish-blue reploid with white outlines and traces of red and yellow here and there. He sports a helmet that resembles Boba Fett's, has a large cannon in his right shoulder, a missile launcher in his left, and shining through the visor is a single red eye. "Meet Vile."
"Nice to meet ya." Vile says as he shakes Jack's hand.
"Likewise." Jack replies. "We'll need your help in exterminating some maverick hunters. One of which, I know you would love to even the score with."
"X?! Here?!" Vile asks, his red eye shining brighter than normal.
"Not exactly but someone who wears that same exact armor." Jack replies.
"I see..." Vile says. "Tell me when you need me to start causing havoc, it's what I do best."
"For now, stick around and get used to the base. They'll never see what's coming." Jack cackles.
