Calm Before The Storm

When Christine returned to base, Gabriella hugged her tightly once more, thankful that her big sister was back again.

"My gosh I thought we had lost you!" Gabriella cries out.

"Hey, hey, don't worry. I'm here, safe and sound." Christine replies. "Now, where's the base?"

"It's located right about... Here. I'm surprised that I didn't locate it before because it's quite near..." Sara says as X, Zero and Iris send their holograms to help out in the raid.

"The whole gang is here!" Gabriella says as everyone gathers around the screen. It's then that Christine realizes something about where Sara found the base...

"Hold up just one goddamn second!" Christine says. "Is that... Jack's house?!"

"Jack?!" Gabriella asks.

"Who's Jack?" Sara, X, Zero and Iris ask simultaneously.

"He's our best friend. We're so close we could be considered brother and sister, and I think something really bad happened if his house got turned into a fortress!" Christine explains.

"Well what are we waiting for? We gotta raid the place!" Gabriella shouts, but before they can do that, something rocks the headquarters! Outside is a gigantic mechaniloid that resembles a T-rex head on legs and it is currently eating away at the headquarters!

"What the hell is that?!" Christine asks, baffled by the maverick currently outside.

"It's a D-rex. I fought one of those things before but it clearly didn't look like THAT! The one I fought looked like a tank!" X replies. "Quick, someone has to take it out before it chomps up the whole HQ!"

"On it!" Gabriella shouts as she rushes out and acquires her new ability. A mushroom symbol appears on her buster and she fires a powder bomb full of hallucinogens at the D-rex. The mechaniloid is covered head to toe in the stuff and it starts going totally beserk, attempting to destroy everything in sight!

"Quick Gabby! Aim for the mouth!" Christine shouts as the D-rex opens it's mouth to fire a shot. Gabriella takes her chance and fires a fully charged shot right into the mouth of the mechaniloid. One shot is all it takes for the D-rex to be engulfed by explosions, and Gabriella dives for the door as a blinding flash sears into Christine and Sara's eyes! When everyone can see again, half of the HQ has been completely destroyed by the explosion and Sara bears some serious wounds. "Alright that does it. I'm storming the base."

"Are you sure?" Gabriella asks.

"Totally sure. I'm going in." Christine replies.

"Good luck!" X calls out as Christine teleports out.
